Zedworks newest addition

AS some of you may know we have a new game lobby. Hopefully if enough people show interest this will become a regular area for us to go and vent some minecraft stress. We are looking for more games to add to the list. Ever come across a game or know of a game, post it here so Zed can look into its suitability for the lobby :)

Are allowed to suggest games that would be heavy on plug-ins, or do we suggest ones that are like maps only?

I like a game called hotfoot. Maybe some of you are familiar with it...Same concept as spleef except the blocks under your feet fall away by themselves. The leaves in spleef are replaced with sand or gravel. Under these gravity blocks are logs. Aimed at these logs are dispensers that fire fire charges or fire arrows and are set to fire at the logs in a random pattern. The logs catch fire, the gravity blocks fall away and the players must try to not fall through the ever increasing holes that are made. At first players are not allowed to punch each other, however after a predetermined time the slug fest is allowed to begin. This makes it harder for the players to concentrate on the holes in the ground.

The winner is the last player left. I saw this on youtube, achievement hunter I think....

It looks like a lot of fun. The only drawback is that the game would have to be reset manually after each round and there is redstone to trigger the dispensers so this could prove to be a pain...

Non-plugin based games are preferred, I'd ideally like to have the Games Lobby up during server maintenance/update times (like the upcoming update to 1.7). I don't want to have to maintain plugins between versions for these mini-games, along with the plugins needed on the main server. However, I'm not against having a few select OMGtotallyworthit plugin-based games in the list :)

Games which need to be reset between rounds are not a problem, we have a few maps like that which I have automatically reset when the server restarts. The only problem arises where a game does not have an official end, some are set up for the players to decide amongst themselves who the real winners are, and when to end the game. Ideally there should be a system in the map which activates redstone on-win, like in the case of hotfoot where command blocks could be used to detect how many players are left in the arena. If there isn't a system built into the map, we could look at adapting the map to work it in. Otherwise, some of the games will require an operator to run the game, and decide when to end the game (stop the server to have it reset). We have a few games which require an operator already (but I hope to automate them in future)

Along nonny's idea there is a game called TNT spleef. The floor is all TnT with nothing but air beneath it. Players are equipped with a flame bow, and the aim is to be the last man standing. Run away from people, shoot at their feet, fun is had. Pvp is off of course, and the map(tnt) has to be reset after every round.
