Is there a help facility for this forum, or am I just going blind in my old age?

Although this forum looks to be a fairly standard implementation of a format and functionality that has hardly changed in over 25 years it does appear to be missing a basic help facility.

While the basic operation of this forum is fairly obvious to users of other forums there is no help for newbies and no advanced info on the forum's unique details for those wanting to delve deeper.

For example this starts with the theme used, which I assume indicates the presence of read or unread posts in a topic by empty or filled bookcase icons, but this is not specified anywhere that I can see. Then there is the lack of details on groups. names ranks, avatars etc. What do they signify, how are they changed?

I am not suggesting that the administrators/moderators should consider writing a whole help document (as if they didn't have enough to do already) but a help topic could be used to answer FAQs and point to the forum provider's pages (phpBB Group) when more detailed explanations are requested.

I recently posted 2 replies on the Ban Hammer topic. As I posted them I was informed that they would need to be moderated before they would be visible. Although my first post appeared a couple of hours later the second hasn't appeared after 2 days.
There doesn't appear to be any way to list my unapproved posts so is there any way I can see whether the post was rejected or just failed to register?

There was meant to be a FAQ topic, but the player who agreed to doing it has been very busy recently. (I believe ) If he is too busy, I am happy to try to get a FAQ topic going.
