[LVS] The Enderdragon

Hello all,

Myself and some others were worried that someone would kill the dragon and then no one would ever see the egg. So, we decided to get some players together and kill it. Then we will pass the egg over to the blues for the Spawn Netherhub to display it!
Also each player involved in the kill will get to hold the egg for one minute each so that we may take screenshots for honor and glory! :D

WHAT TO BRING
Power V bow
Sharpness V Axes & Sharpness V Swords
Food, Golden Apples, Potions, enderpearls
Health potions, golden apples, and your best diamond armor are encouraged.

OUR ARROWS WILL BLOT OUT THE SUN

:idea: Upon entering the end, players will stack on top of each other. Then four splash potions will be applied to the group Strength, speed, and regeneration. Im not sure if the dragons breathe does fire damage or magical damage.

:idea: Players should eat a Mul'Gore. I will eat them through the fight to stay buffed.

:idea: Health potions and splash health potion usage makes for happy cows. Tjob, Amir, and I made a large number of potions. We are happy to share, please feel free to bring your own or to contribute materials at a later date.

:idea: The group will fan out and shoot the flames on top of the pillars. Two of the targets will be encased in iron bars, and will have to be assaulted on foot; two players will be asked to volunteer to this task.

:idea: The strategy is to blitzkrieg with overwhelming arrows! >:D Supressssssing fire :!:

:idea: The dragon has four states: circling, strafing, charging, and landed. It begins in the circling state. When landed and cumulative damage while landed exceeds 50 it will take off (to start circling) and reset the accumulator. The accumulator is not reset if the dragon takes off naturally.

:idea: When circling, the dragon will circle outside the ring of pillars if ender crystals remain or inside the ring if not. With increasing chances as crystals are destroyed it will land on the empty portal or will strafe a player within 64 blocks of the portal.

:idea: When strafing, the dragon will fly towards the target player and shoot a fireball at the player if they are within 64 blocks of the dragon before resuming its circling.

:idea: When charging, the dragon will fly rapidly towards the target player's position at the start of the charge, then resume circling whether or not the player was actually hit.

:idea: After 1.25 seconds, if a player is within 20 blocks of the portal it will roar (2 seconds) and then use its breath attack for 3 seconds.

:idea: While the dragon is using its breath attack, the player can obtain dragon's breath by using a glass bottle on the breath. Use potion of regeneration and eat a golden apple before going in for your potion loot or be a warrior and hit it with your sword. Players are encourages to jump up and swing at the dragon on their downward descent. This will cause Critical Cow Damage

:idea: If no player is near enough for 5 seconds, the dragon will charge at a player within 150 blocks or will take off and begin circling if no player is found. It will also take off and begin circling after the fourth consecutive breath attack.

:idea: While landed, the dragon is immune to arrows. If it's not landed and takes fatal damage, it will fly to the vicinity of the portal before actually dying.

:idea: The dragon continues to do 10 damage to entities hit by the head or neck, and now also does 5 damage to entities hit by the wings while flying. The dragon now also has a 10-second-long breath attack that does damage (like a Lingering Potion of Harming) after the first half-second, and an exploding fireball that acts much like a Lingering Potion of Harming II. The dragon will no longer take damage from snowballs, eggs, or other attacks that normally deal no damage. You can not deflect the fireballs. Move out of the way. ;)

:idea: After flying for approximately 30 seconds, the ender dragon will come down and hover over the unfinished bedrock portal, and remain there for another 30 seconds. The Ender Dragon will spew out "Ender acid", which deals damage, onto nearby players. Players may continually strike it with a weapon at this time. Use potion of regeneration before going in

Zedwick recommend that since we will be overly prepare, we should stomp multiple Enderdragons into the ground and soak up the sweet xp.
We do not have a time range. We will be on stand-by all Monday. Use up those vacation days/sick days at work.

When will this fight go down? Since 1.9 comes out Monday, and not on Thursday (today) I will be having to do things during the week, and I get home at around 3 o' clock EST, and I don't want to miss out. So maybe we can have an announcement of when we will be fighting the Dragon. :)

I suggest posting an update when to do this, the blue's could close off the End portal until sufficient members of the server are ready to take on the enderdragon?
Without trousers, you can enjoy life a lot more. Wearing a "thong" is just a comfort thing ...

UPDATE: The fight we will sometime shortly after 8PM GMT. :)

Players that are available to make it are welcome to come gear up with us at Timbotiminator's Castle. In one of the buildings we established a place to gear up with items and potions. :)
