To celebrate LVS's 3rd birthday (applause) the Zriends are hosting a Build Off in the city of Blutopia!
All are welcome to participate, even you Zz folks. We will be supplying a chest of useful building materials for participants so don't let recource scarcity scare you off.
When is it then?
This build off will start on the 5th November after the LVS council meeting. It will run for two weeks to give you all time to build what you want, closing at 8pm the following saturday, the 19th of November. This is just before the start of the next LVS council meeting.
What may I build?
You must stay within your plot, and not go underground deeper than 10 blocks. Aim it to look amazing! Hight limit for building is 256 blocks.
Where to build?
The build off plots are located behind the creeper field in the City of Blutopia. Blutopia can be accessed via a warp at spawn for the time being, and also from yellow border tunnel at 1830z. The plots are 20x28 blocks, there are 10 of them so far, please post on here to claim your plot or speak to a Zriend in game. Plots 9 and 10 are not shown on this map, they are beachside plots to the south of the area.
How will it be judged?
Builds will be judged out of 10 on four criterion.
-Veiwed from a distance (including skyline, how a build goes with the rest of the town etc.)
-Veiwed up close (detain on the build)
-Interior (the inside, obviosly)
-Origionality
Bonus points may be awarded for building something not already in the city! For example, we do not have a school, fire station or prision.
The winner is the person with the most points at the end, the results will be released soon after the build off closes.
Prizes!!!!
The Prize for first place will be a BRAND NEW ELYTRA and a mob head of their choice. Second and third place will also receive a mod head and a stack of iron blocks. Good luck to you all and happy building!
