Last council meeting, I mentioned that Blutopia needed some help dismantling some trees nearby to expand the city. People were surprisingly interested in this idea so here we go!
Today, May 12Th, marks the start of the Blutopia chopping festival!
Bring your axes to Blutopia and start swinging. Once you arrive in Blutopia, come and chat with me and I will show you the area to start chopping. Also, you will be given some maps of the area so you do not get lost.
Here are the festival’s terms and conditions! For each stack of wood AND stack of saplings registered TOGETHER with me, you will be awarded 1 point. To make your point valid in the eyes of the competition, your stacks of saplings must be temporarily surrendered to me and placed in a secure holding area until the end of the festival. You can keep the wood. Once the festival is over the saplings can be returned to you or disposed of. This is to try and avoid cheating, I know it is a pain, but I am trying to make this festival as fair as possible. To anyone thinking of cheating anyway, you will be found out and punished accordingly.
After a grand total of TWO WEEKS from today, the festival will be over. The player with the most points will be awarded the greatest prize in LVS' history! All rewards listed below will be distributed once the festival is over.
However, prizes will also be awarded based on points collected, so there are lots of chances to win some stuff!

This point system is now redundant as I have totally overhauled the marking system
- 1-26 Points: 1 Iron Block per point. (This perk only applies to players who get 26 points or less)
- 27 points: A Blutopia street will be named in your honour + You will receive 2 Diamond blocks or 27 Iron Blocks
- 81 Points: A Blutopia Building will be named in your honour + A mob head of your choice + Previous reward.
- 135 Points: You get to design a skyscraper in Blutopia and I (and maybe some others, who knows) will assist you in building it. We can have as much or as little input as you would like. From doing nothing to collecting all the materials and building it for you! + An Elytra + 9 Stacks of 'duration 1' rockets + Previous rewards (The building named after you will be the building built for you though)
- The Winner: A giant monument of you, with a giant axe, smiting a giant tree, within Blutopia + Plus you will go down in history as the Chopping Champion of Blutopia + 27 Shulker boxes filled with goodies from Blutopia!!!

I have attached a map of Blutopia to show which trees need to be removed and created a large yellow clay marker to show when to stop.
