Can Mellorian or Memery extend my persmissions so that I can edit Regions and I'll publish a draft.

Feel free to make any changes/create any pages you think are needed.

If you want to make a big change and would like feedback first, feel free to make a Sandbox page and grab our attention to take a look - we often do that between ourselves for stylistic changes and such. Don't feel you have to do so for everything though, it's very easy to undo/edit changes on individual pages, and you seem to be quite capable :)

An example of a sandbox page would be the one Memery made for the Lvs council, where we had to have it approved in a meeting before we could update the page itself: https://zedwork.co.uk/wiki/User:Memery/Sandbox
(Afaik, the only protected pages like that would be ones pertaining to the Lvs Council or Zedkins)

This is the error I get when I try to save the new Minecart page that I've drafted in Category:Region.

I’m not sure why you are seeing that message. Any registered user whose posts no longer need to go through moderation before appearing on the forum can edit any page on the wiki. (Which is meant by “User” here).

Can you confirm that you can edit your User page at the time you are unable to edit the Region page? Just try to make a new edit on both pages. Also check you haven’t been logged out for some reason.

This may quite possibly have been Operator Error...

Having lost the draft anyway - I left it open on my laptop and the damned thing restarted overnight - I had to start over:

• First time, I started from the broken link in my User Page - https://zedwork.co.uk/wiki/Minecart - and got those error messages embedded in my previous post when I tried to save or view.
• This time, admittedly on a different computer, I started by entering the URL of the required new page - https://zedwork.co.uk/wiki/Minecart - and I was able to not only edit it but save the changes!

Please note though that the two URLs are actually identical but accessed differently.

To answer Zedwick's questions, Yes I am logged in and Yes I can edit my own user page, as can be seen from the addendum at the foot of that page - https://zedwork.co.uk/wiki/User:LousyMiner

Unforunately, too many variables were changed in the process of replicating and investigating this issue that I cannot now reliably state or trace which was the culprit. So, nothing to see here now, please move along (dons coat)

That sounds awesome.

Currently, as you've noticed, we don't really have a template, but we tend to follow similar stylings when creating a new page, as seen on the Bridgeways page, as well as a few others. Namely an image to the right, a description and a list of features. This could definitely be improved upon and changed - we certainly don't have enough pages to make wide sweeping changes a pain to implement - and I think it's a good idea for us to have a template set out for future region pages.
