I found someone's droppings from after they died in a desert biome, attached is the coordinates
please respond if this was yours, include what you lost so i can verify if it was your stuff

That looks quite some way away, so maybe it lies there for a while now. Are there really valuable items (especially named ones)? I usually put up a chest where found the stuff with a sign on it, so it won't despawn..

I was with fegalicious when we found the items. The area is near my base and I have as recently as last week been mining sand in that area, so I think the chunk was loaded yet the items were not despawned. That is why we suspect it was a recent death.
There are 4 renamed diamond tools and one renamed diamond sword, all good stuff. I guess we will put a chest or a sign there in case the owner comes back.

(Maybe write one or two of the names? Maybe someone rage quite and does read this here or other people can identify these items and their owner)

It seems the general thought going into this post was for the person who lost the items to be able to name the missing items as proof that they lost them instead of someone just going, "those are mine! yup! totally lost those in that spot."

That's why I proposed to tell the name of one of the items for identification (for example I usually use German names based on the enchantments), the rest will be needed to be named by the owner. Anyway, good that you posted the coords, I think protectors can see who dropped items on one block? (I think lala did that once in central)
I hope the mystery will be solved soon.
