At the moment, all links posted in chat (and some other things that arn't links) are turned into zedwork.co.uk. M suggested zedlings be allowed to post links in chat to the forum and some other sites, for example youtube. Zed would like to fix it so that forum links can be posted. He also has no problem with allowing Zedling+ to post youtube links, but this may be difficult to implement. There are security issues with links in chat though, so this should be restricted to Zedling+ only.
Pranking Allowed? (Etho_)
The rules of pranking were decided. However, these rules will be updated as more information comes to light. They are as follows:
- No breaking blocks.
No killing the target.
No trapping the target.
Do not repeatedly prank a player who has been recently pranked. 3 seperate pranks on one player in 1 week is too much.
BengalBoi should be making a post about the rules of pranking. This was also discussed 4 weeks ago, and he still hasn't done it yet. I repeat, bengal is now 4 weeks overdue on this post! Please could everybody remind bengal in game to do this?
Redstone School (BigBuilderAl)
It was decided the redstone school will happen every two weeks starting next saturday (3rd of October).
The location was also discussed but a conclusion was not reached. It will be at either Hayfever or Al's base.
Al may make a youtube video of the Redstone School.
Lobby Puzzles (Dax23333)
After many hours of parkour fails I managed to get to chesters island, which contains an uncompletable puzzle. Zedwick said this is due to a permissions error, which he now plans to fix. He said some of the other islands also contain broken puzzles.
Zedwick plans to make the lobby puzzles possible and harder. I dread to think how he could make the parkours harder.
Public Wither Skeleton Farm (Suzie1)
Suzie is making a public farm for wither skeletons, and needs cobble for slabbing and maniacs for bed bombing. Good progress is being made so far.
ATM udate (BengalBoi)
An update on the popularity of the ATM (containing a bench, anvil and Ender chest) was requested.
As they have apparently been popular, Bengal will talk with ThatNurd about rolling them out across the server.
Reminders of Previos Council Decisions (SwayLight)
All players should be reminded that you must bring your own anvils to the End Farm now.
Additionally, players should not bring up !totalbans to new players. This is intimidation, and should not be done.
New Members and Future Hosts
Congratulations to Suzie1 for being voted back onto the council!
OneEyedTurtle will host next meeting in two weeks on the 10th of October, Suzie1 will host the meeting after that on the 24th of October.
