Hi All,

It is planned to hold an election for a mayor or co-mayors at the next council meeting to be held at Nurd's place. Please can you post on this thread if you are interested in standing for mayor, or want to be a co-mayor working with a friend.

It would be great if you could also add some info about your interest in the Savannah warp town. For example, what ideas do you have for making it a more attractive place for players to live or make farms? Do you have a house or farms in the town or the area? Do you have an good ideas for community projects?

hey I would like to be the mayor or the co mayor beacause I am a friendly awesome idears and farms and so on mostly always on 98% of the time and just beacause I always wanted to do one lol I will bring up at the meeting I have an idea to bring back to life the jungle and other warp

I would toss myself in for co-mayer of the city, I can come up with many great ideas for the city and, can be very helpful.

I guess I could run for mayor of Savannah it'd be pretty fun
I have a few ideas and projects that could make the place look pimpin'. But of course I could never run it by myself I'd need a co-mayor to assist with things. It's kinda hard being a self-standing mayor of a town. :p
I as of right now do not have a house there although I am planning on creating one.

Hi,

Homonix and I would like to stand as co-mayors for Savannah Town.

I used to have my main base in Savannah and I am planning to move back again in the next few weeks. I have several active projects in the area including construction of a new public triple farm (Iron, Gold and Guardian).

Homonix is a very creative designer and has produced some of the most beautiful recent builds on the server such as the nether tunnel to the Community Nether Farm. He also co-hosted this years Halloween event

Some of my projects in Savannah include:

Savannah Hub
- This is now nearing completion
- Bengal has built a lovely new tunnel to the hub running from the top room in main hub
- There is also a rail link to Jungle warp

Community Info Center
- It includes a map of the Savannah area
- I'm planning to map some more of the surrounding area over the next few weeks

Community Stables
- Next to warp
- Savannah is a great place to explore on horseback

Roads and paths around the warp area
- I have some basic roads at the moment but am planning to build a network of Acacia roads similar to spawn

Replanting of trees and flowers
- I have replanted about 300 trees so far and bonemealed hundreds of flowers
- I have also been filling in many of the random holes that players can fall into

Repairs to griefed houses
- I have been repairing many of the griefed houses in the area

Repopulation of livestock
- I have several farms in the area including Mooshrooms, Horses, Cows, Sheep, Rabbits and Pigs
- I'm planning to release a proportion of the livestock into the wild

Harbor and access to deep ocean
- I have dredged a channel from close to the warp to the deep ocean to enable quick access to the oceans near the warp
- The oceans here are one of the best places to hunt squid

Aquarium
- You can get close-up to guardians in the aquarium which is accessible from the hub

Gold Farm
- Not very efficient, it will be replaced by the new triple farm

Thank you for the nomination, Suzie! I'd love to help breathe new life into the Savannah Town - such exciting possibilities! Even if the Savannah Town doesn't return to the warp lineup, it would be great to revitalize the area with community services and a solid infrastructure for building. I would be thrilled to work with Suzie to renovate and maintain the Savannah Town!

I feel as if all of the players would be completely worthy of being the mayor of savannah warp, it has quite a lot of potential.
