[Zz][LVS] Minecraft 1.9

The first pre-release leading up to the full release of Minecraft 1.9 landed today, and with it an actual release date! :O

Minecraft 1.9 is expected to be released Monday the 29th of February

LVS, Zedwork's Latest Version Server, will of course update right away!

Zurvival may take a little longer, for those of you who were around to wait for the update after 1.8's release: It won't be that long. I'll keep you all updated as to how long I expect Zurvival will take, but I don't expect you will have too long to wait - though I know I am going to need to replace a plugin or two already.

What are you looking forward to in 1.9? What's the first thing you're going to do once we're running 1.9?

There's going to be a meeting for LVS Zedlings on Saturday at 8pm GMT to discuss end and other 1.9 matters, hosted by darthduck. Council-led, but open for all Zedlings to participate.

Have we decided to turn off pvp during the update to 1.9 on our servers? Or is this just a rumor that's not true?

I'm getting those Elytras btw... prepare for mass raiding of end cities in 1.9 people! It's coming! :O

There's gonna be some stiff competition for those elytra. I know i'm going for one.
I'll build a few enderporters on the main island so we can get back easier. No point dropping them in the void out of stupidity.

Both Zurvival and LVS are now on 1.9, and BridgeWars and MissileWars have been updated to support 1.9 (though are technically still running 1.8 with all that glorious spam-click pvp).
