I will be hosting the council meeting on the 12th March, 2016 in The CB Palace.
If you have any topic you wish to raise, please post it as a reply here.
You do not need to be a council member to raise a topic.

As suggested in the last meeting the monthly reset of the end will have to be discussed at this meeting.
The thing I was looking forward to the most in 1.9 was to finally have an area of the end you are allowed to build in without having a blue name and since the reset I've been working on making that possible and convenient without interfering with the end farm. It is entirely my fault that I misunderstood the way the end resets were supposed to be handled but I would hate to see that part of the end being unusable again.
That's why I compiled a list of reasons why it isn't necessary to wipe the entire end around the main island:
1. The area not affected by the reset could be expanded by about 1000 blocks to leave the nearest islands intact (the way I originally understood the plan)
2. As far as I know everyone who spent some time searching for an elytra and was smart enough not to just retrace the steps of someone else found one after some hours.
3. The current setup of parallel bridges avoids people searching places multiple times.
4. Additional dragon fights will create gateways into currently still unexplored directions. (up to 20 gateways in all directions)
5. Not every item in minecraft needs to be easy to get, having something rare and special in the game is a nice change.

Not sure if this is the right place but I'll throw my opinon out there.
I agree with most of what Skappy said, in particular that there would be nice to have an area in the end where none blue people can build. Always wanted to make a space base theme. But yeah not that important.
The biggest issue I have with what Skappy said is number 5. There is a difference between being rare to and something only the first few people can get. The reset of the end islands will mean that even people that join 6 months from now will get a chance to find an elytra. It will also mean that everybody has the same chance of finding one. I really like the idea of a reset of the end islands every month.
I had to travle 9000 blocks out now, a week after 1.9 came out. Imagine what it'd be like in 6 months or more. Getting it then wouldn't just be hard it'd be almost impossible. However maybe we could reset areas further out in the end, and leave the closer islands as is?

From that there should be at least one new end gateway, me and Hominix killed one a few days ago. Granted I died and was generally useless, but the point still stands. I hope there is one due to the amount of trouble in taking it down and the otherwise rubbish loot consisting of a few bottles of breath. Anyone seen it?
Anyway, I don't see any reason why the gateway island should be reset as well.

There's a good point in there. A second gateway is spawned when a dragon dies to get back to the main island, right? If everything beyond the void were reset those gateways would also be lost, as they would not generate with the fresh land.

Excuse my total command block ignorance, but is it possible to wipe and generate new land outside a cylinder or sphere area centered around the main island (essentially so that the main island and surrounding area is in a bubble safe from the wipe)? And if so, could you have a message pop up in chat for anyone who crosses the border into the reset-vulnerable land?

Not via command blocks. The solution is basically to delete the files the outer islands are stored in. The shape of the "bubble" could only be square, as that is the shape of the land as stored per file. Though I could probably supplement it with a command block warning system, yes.

A topic for the meeting:
I was voted into becoming the replacement Mayor for Forest Hills, since the previous Mayors (Memery and DannyC) were inactive. Now that they are active again, I wonder if he council wants them to be the Mayors again? And more importantly, do they want to be the Mayors again?
