So yes, Hello everybody, As many of you who were at today's meeting (07/05/2016) know. I was elected as the new mayor of the run down jungle warp!
As such I'd like to take the time to make this post and tell you that within the next few months the jungle warp will be completely transformed from a run down place with horrible contrasting buildings to a very eye pleasing and possible place for players to want to live.
There are a couple of things I need to address before I start the project of tearing down and rebuilding though and those are;
New Co-mayor(S), I have people who have asked me already that they wish to be Co-Mayors and also people who I have reached out to personally, However I would like to offer people the chance to apply for the position as I feel this is fairer to everyone.
So if you wish to be a co-mayor of the jungle warp, Please feel free to reply to this post, PM me on the forums or PM me in-game (My name is BanishTheLight) and tell me why you wish to be a Co-Mayor. Please remember that I need active people who are keen and fairly decent builders!
The second thing I wish to raise is the fixing of the warp's Nether Portal, as far as I know only Hominix is aware that the portal is broken when returning to the nether from the overworld, If any blue wishes to help out by fixing this portal then I would very much appreciate it!
Thirdly, I will be using a lot of my own materials rebuilding the warp (as to be expected) but if anyone would like to donate materials to me that would be appreciated, Mainly things coloured green, brown and black, stone variations would also be welcomed.
Small note, I will be buying all jungle saplings, if anyone has jungle saplings and wishes to sell them to me we can negotiate on a price!
and finally, I want to thank everyone who gave me support on my pursue of becoming the Jungle Mayor, I have been playing this server since September of 2015 and the only major community build contribution I have made is the Halloween event. So i felt like I wanted to offer more to the server and by becoming the jungle mayor I feel this is a way for me to do that. Hopefully I can repay that support and do a great job returning the Jungle Warp to a good state!
