After the recent council meeting where I raised the point that we should be able to offer some help to others in our community. I have looked up some help numbers.

Samaritans for UK and the Republic of Ireland. Samaritans.org Phone 116 123 Email jo@samaritans.org There are a ton in the USA. No single number but all can be found on Samaritans.org

For children there is Child line in the UK 0800 1111 Childline.org.uk

Best I can find in the US is safe horizon They have several numbers. Domestic abuse 800-621–HOPE (4673)
Family help and crimes. 866-689-HELP (4357).
Rape and sexual abuse 212-227-3000.

Heart breaking! But when someone you have been friends with for all of 10 minutes starts asking you stuff because you are 43yo, Its crappy when all you can say is "Stay out of the way and keep safe".

Ours is a wide community. We all play the same game and I guess that sometimes the younger members look to the older members for help when they need it. It would be good if we could return that trust!

Thank you, Deester! What a wonderful idea to provide these resources here :) I hope that anyone who needs to talk something out with someone will reach out to fellow players or one of these organizations! Love yourselves, and don't be afraid to lean on others when you need help!

SO is anyone going to sticky it? Or are these numbers going to be put in the chat system? Its not enough for me that a Zesty said I was doing a good thing and then letting this post get snowed under! I think my next move should be to ask the developers of Minecraft if they will support my Idea? Microsoft now owns Minecraft so maybe they will be able to put a little back to the massive community we have? I realise that the vast majority of players don't hit these issues. For me though 1 player is too many!

I definitely second stickying this. Having the numbers available on !listnotice would also be very nice, but the character limit makes that a bit hard at the moment. Minecraft 1.11 let's you put more characters in a single post though, so that's definitely something we should add

Well forgive me if I bump it. There are a lot of things important in life and Minecraft but I will keep trying to get this to the top of the list!
