It's the first meeting of the new year!

I would add a market topic, but people would probably kill me...

Really though, my niece's birthday is on the 10th, and my sister usually schedules their birthday parties on the Saturday following, so I may not be able to make it. If I don't please consider this an apology.

I kinda have a market topic, but not really...

I would like to see an extension to the market / a new area completely for SERVICES!

After the last meet, I realised that offering services could really give our in game economy something that it's missing.

Using the Diamond Time Standard, we could charge each other an hourly rate (+parts) in exchange for tasks. Players could also expand on their themed shops if they wish.

Examples of services we could offer each other:
Forestry - Planting forests where requested.
Engineering - Building / repairing redstone contraptions for each other.
Building / Landscaping.
Horse taming / delivery.

I'm sure there's probably more but you get the idea. This could be a way for players to sell their own, or other players stock as part of a project they are hired to. Might also give something else for those with abundance of Diamond to spend on.

Just realised I'm not gonna make this meeting! Got two whole social events that day :O

I have some trouble at home. There is a chance that I can't make the meeting or forget about the time. Sorry

I wont be able to attend this meeting because of base ball and i wont be able to for like the next 5-6 months so for the good of the server i'd like to temporarily step down from my council position till june if that is possible.

EmpressBethany says she will be unable to host tomorrow, so, in a bizarre twist of fate, I am now going to be hosting the meeting after i tried to flee apologize.
