The "player spawned inside a block, server can teleport them to spawn" was a suggestion for Zedwick. He mentioned that one potential problem for the regen script was players logging into an area that had been regenerated and thus getting stuck inside blocks and dying. I suggested something that could fix that, but it wasn't noticed since people were talking about.. well.. this:

"The rest of the council were still on the murder-tangeant, suggesting progressively more inventive ways we could kill a player who unwittingly ventured into an area until it was discovered that we'd probably long exceeded the practical points of the topic."

Sometimes I forget that most council members are like teenagers, even the ones past that age. Next time I'll just make my suggestion in PM format and leave the council discussions for what it is.

That's my bad Forseth; hubub had me catching the wrong end of the thread. Have corrected the notes.
Definitely worth posting to the suggestion forum, would allow for a dedicated conversation - meeting certainly showed lots of people eager to help a regen script work.

I did take note of the suggestion, Forseth. I don't like taking players from where they are in the world and sending them to spawn if I can help it, but it would certainly be better than dying and losing their items who knows where.

It was also my bad for not reigning in the meeting when I should have, I'm sorry Forseth. I just think we had all been talking about these topics for well over an hour and wanted it over with at that point...

Well, we have a problem, what a surprise. 1.14.4 couldn't go down smoothly on our poor little server. This isn't (shouldn't be?) a problem that needs reversion, so don't be alarmed. We do however need some administrative intervention. Mojang made an oversight, and made villager breeding require food to breed, and they can't pick up items with mobgriefing off. The old methods allowed us to trade with villagers to breed them, but this has since been removed. What do we do? Do we do something drastic, like put LVS on plugins? Or, can we put a command block or a data pack in the server that allows them to breed somehow? Thoughts? Suggestions? Concerns? Please voice them below before the meeting.

I apologize I didn't post this sooner...

I won't be able to make this meeting.

On ABP's topic I did some experimenting and villagers now becoming willing simply if they have enough food in thier inventory, and according to zedwick new commands should make it easier to transfer item piles into thier inventory. So should be possible to have them hoover up items (only 4 types) which would make them breed properly.

I keep telling you people those villager disappearances are because of the blacksmith's assistant. That boy isn't right in the head, always walking around with a bucket of lava.

(don't get excited, just decided to use my library computer time to read the meeting notes.)
