River Bend is currently mayor-less, and that means it needs a new mayor to run it. This is a very good way to get involved with the community!

How do you run for mayor then?

To run for mayor, you need to:

1. State your IGN (in-game name)
2. Why you are good for the job?

Why I'm good for the job: I believe I'm good for the job because I love to be involved in community projects, and I am an active player. I have plenty of ideas for River Bend, and I would love to put them into reality. I have attended many council meetings, and I am open to any ideas that other players may have. I am very passionate about this, and I wish to give players a place to feel welcome in, and for all players to enjoy!

I'm AlyCatMeow and the reason I think I would do well as mayor of River Bend is because...
1. I am highly active on LVS. Allow me to speak frankly. I have no life. I practically live in LVS. You are guaranteed to run into me just about every day. I'm more than available to look after River Bend.
2. I am already playing caretaker to the warp town in Aravero's absence. I have repaired the roadways/other infrastructure of the town more times than I recall enough to count since August, for no other reason than that it needed done and I was there. I will fall easily into this role as it's something I'm already doing.
3. I have wonderful plans for the betterment of River Bend! As mayor, I plan to add a new, functioning iron farm to the town in place of the old one that 1.14 broke. I also plan to finish the villager trading center that Aravero started in the tree farm.

River Bend is such an important warp town on LVS because it's one of the main starting locations for our new players. My only desire as River Band's mayor is to make the town as useful and accessible as possible for our Zookies just starting out on LVS as well as those returning to build something new!

Hello my dear Zedlings. My name is MasterBoy269 and I would like to become Mayor of Riverbend.

Why would I want to become a Mayor?

I like to be busy on community projects. This is perfect opportunity for me then!

What are your plans for Riverbend?

RIverbend itself is beautiful warp.
- I would fix it where it needed to be repaired because it had been abandoned for a long period.
- Places that are dark would be lit. It's not nice for new players to have a zombie twist where it should be safe.
- The right warp rules would be enacted to maintain order.
- Old and not very attractive buildings would be restored and given some function for the community.
- For buildings that do not have salvation, they are followed by demolition. This is where other players could build their houses.
- Old and dysfunctional farms would be restored and allowed to the community. They would even have signs around town to take them to the farms
- The trading hall would be restored in a functional way so that the bugs do not break. All players would have access to the villagers. The Villager breeder would also be there to complete any trade.
- The waters around the warp would be beautified in 1.13 style. It should be all eye-catching.
- Same for the landscaping. More parks, more open spaces, more flowers, more trees(Custom ones!)
- More simple, but very useful farms for public.
- Space for community events
- And many more projects.

Hallo everyone, I am SooprJ, the Sooprest of J's, and I would like to run for Riverbend Mayor!

Why am I running?
Riverbend was my first home pretty much. My base is right over the mountain, and I know the town like the back of my hand. I love helping new players get started, since new players are the life blood of LVS.

Why am I good for the job?
I am extremely active on the server. I am on nearly everyday, and have helped out with a lot of community builds, most recently I helped Spectatre run the community Christmas Dining Hall build. Like I said before, I love helping new players, and I have a lot of ideas for how to do that.

What are my ideas?
Glad you asked, here are some ideas i have:
1. Expand the roads- Riverbend is really full, it would be great to expand the town and make room for newer players
2. Fix the Iron Farm- Iron Falls has been broken since 1.14 hit, I will fix it so new players have access to an iron farm.
3. Remove unfinished builds- I will post signs around unfinished buildings asking for the player to finish them. If the player is inactive, the build will be removed to make room for new players.
4. More farms- I would like to add a sugarcane/bamboo farm, and some others possibly.
5. Finish the villager trading center and make it 1.14 friendly- So players can trade for useful things

I am also open to any other ideas people may have!
