Minecraft's Nether Update is out, and I'm sure we're all very eager to get started with all the new things. We're currently keeping an eye out for any potential problems with this update, as Mojang have not had a good run with the last few major updates. However, it's carrently looking quite promising! I am optimistic we'll have nothing to worry about, despite our cautious approach.

Whilst you're waiting for 1.16 to land on LVS and Zz, ZestyLand is back online and has been updated to 1.16.1 featuring The Nether Update. All Current Zesty Subscribers are invited to hop on and explore the nether together ^_^ You can find Zestyland through the Zesty coloured portal in the lobby behind the strange new tent. Zesty Subscribers can also directly connect to Zestyland at mc.zedwork.co.uk:25566.

LVS will update to 1.16.1 on Wednesday the 1st of July.

I expect LVS will be offline for several hours whilst upgrading the world to 1.16.

Zurvival will not be updating yet, as it must wait for spigot stability and plugins to be updated. I currently have no ETA for Zz.

Will we LVS players have some Zesty games unlocked or we have to jump on ice and fences in the lobby in meantime?

Apologies for the lack of communication and my usual presence in the lobby during the server upgrades. I’ve been unable to use my computer since yesterday, which has made handling the upgrade somewhat challenging today. I’ve had to set it all up from a near decade old tablet.

I took LVS offline a little after 11 AM BST today, and had estimated the upgrade process would take a mere 2-4 hours. Unfortunately my estimates were a little off, and at the time of writing the overworld upgrade has only just passed 30% complete. At the current rate, it seems LVS will complete the upgrade to 1.16.1 tomorrow morning.

Sorry to rob you all of being able to play survival today! ZestyLand is available for the Zesty Subscribers to play in 1.16.1, Zestygames are also available, and Zurvival is quite a nice place to play some classic 1.15.2 . Plotzy remains available for you to build in creative mode, just hop through the log portal in the lobby.

I see some of you have been enjoying the parkours in the lobby It looks like the villagers have almost finished excavating something out of the ground, too! :O I wonder what it could be?

LVS have been enjoying the successful update to 1.16.1, and now it is nearing time for Zurvival to join the fun!

Zz will update to 1.16.1 on Monday the 13th of July.

I have a few final plugins which need updating, but all of our most essential plugins are all ready to go! The upgrade process will likely take a similar amount of time as LVS' upgrade, which took a full 24 hours to complete. You will likely be able to play Minecraft 1.16.1 on Tuesday the 14th of July!

As stated earlier, Zesties still have ZestyLand to play on. They can also host ZestyGames for all to play. We all have LVS to play in 1.16.1, and Plotzy to build in creative. The super fun lobby parkour challenges are, of course, also available to play.

Zurvival's upgrade process has begun. I will edit this post with an estimated time the server will be ready when one becomes available.

Current estimated time Zurvival will be back online: 1PM 3PM BST, Tuesday 14th 2020.

Zurvival is now online running Minecraft 1.16.1.

The nether has been reset beyond 3K. Land up to 4K will be protected from future resets.

1.16.2 is out, and comes with some not-insignificant changes.

LVS will wait a few days before updating to be sure no major issues emerge for old worlds such as ours.

ZZ will update after LVS, once our server software and major plugins have updated or are confirmed compatible with the new version.
