Vanilla minecraft has gotten a little stale for me so I was hoping to find out if there are any interesting and fun mods for singleplayer.
Mods that add quests, new realms and is easy to learn.
If anyone could share some knowledge on some it would be great.

I have but I didn't latch on to it.
I've heard it has more complex machines than Tekkit so I've not tried to learn it yet.
Not really into industrial minecraft that much anyway.

With mods, I suggest mod packs. If you download the technic pack or feed the beast launcer, they both have other mod packs included. Tekkit launcher has some interesting mods to play with, millenaire I found fun, and I think all the single player ones have "mo' creatures" which is my favorite mod.

Is this the 999 post? or has it reached it's maximun? anyways a really great mod that is always a great tool is single player commands, lets you set home, tp and such, + it has a sort of world edit installed with it. btw try one called rpg inventory it brings a lot of mods into one.
This is the 1,000th post in General Discourse - woo for Sokonit! - Zed

I'll definitely take a look at those two mods.
Preferably I want mods that are compatible with Optifine (Which most usually are) and not just small mods, Like large mods that add lots'a stuff.
I tried going down the modpack line but the ones I tried weren't really that interesting/didn't support Optifine.
oh well. THE SEARCH CONTINUES!!!

definitely try voids wrath! it's magic based, so there's not a lot of technical mumbo jumbo (i feel ya on the confusing mechanics thing)
there are a whole bunch of different realms and it's just a load of fun to experiment with in crative mode too
