it seems that zedwork was having issues around 6:00 to 6:30 am GMT time, the server seemed to restart several times during this interval. Also, ignite444 pointed out to me that she and several others apparently cannot get onto the forums, just giving you guardians a heads up.

When you say restart, do you mean the server became unavailable (and you all disconnected) and then sometime later became available? Or do you mean it announced a scheduled or emergency restart in game?

As to the forums, I'd heard of one player being unable to access to forums - but as it works fine for me, it is difficult to diagnose why that would be. I would suggest if you could get a screenshot of their attempt to load the forum, and post it here, that could be of some help.

The server became unavailable twice for just 10 min. The real problematic thing is that before the server went offline it seemed to do freeze, then disconnect everyone, which was me, ignite444 and kittykatdeath. This might just be just a hiccup from the server host though.

I've tracked down the problem to one of our plugins, which will freeze the server when a player logs in if it fails to connect to a remote server. That remote server seemed to be down during that time. It's one of our protection plugins which prevents unpleasant folk from connecting via known blacklisted IP addresses. I will see if either I or the plugin dev can move the queries async (so the server does not have to stop whilst it waits for a reply from the server).

Along with this same problem comes another question. Since the last two days have been extremely laggy. Are you the only one who can force a server restart? If not who else can restart it/how do we report problems? Is the forum the best place for that?
