The servers should go down tomorrow (2014/02/07), and will remain down for a little over a week. Sorry this will be so lengthy :/ I've not been receiving enough donations to cover costs, so this is a needed change to reduce the bill. The new machine is actually only a slight downgrade, but the change in cost is much more dramatic. That said, at our current rate we'll still not cover costs; I will be adding the donation tiers for LVS soon and am hoping that will bring us up to self-sufficiency in terms of running costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated, though, as I am actually massively out of pocket at this point.
I will try to add a mini-game, alongside the lobby, to keep you entertained - depends on how much this mini-server I am renting out can handle. Hopefully you won't all forget about little ol' Zedwork over this week
P.s. thanks to all who have been donating these last few months, you've given me hope that things could turn around and have kept Zedwork alive and clinging to life. ^_^
Facts:
- Both survival servers will go down 7th February, 2014.
- No data will be deleted; all current worlds, inventories etc will be there and waiting for you when it's backup.
- You can continue connecting via the same server address (mc.zedwork.co.uk / latest.zedwork.co.uk:21565) as normal, even during the downtime to connect to the lobby. (if you, for some reason, use the server IP numbers to connect: this will stop working.)
- Zedwick loves you, and would prefer not to be burnt at the stake.
