Add a duration period for /home and regions

Currently, if someone is about to be killed they can just do /home. In my opinion that is far too easy, i suggest a simple addition to the /home command.

To do home there should be a small period of time in which the player must stay still, so you type /home and you must stand still for 5/10 seconds before being transported. That way nobody can bail from a fight unfairly, be it PVE or PVP.

What do you guys think?

A fine idea indeed.However I would suggest it be an optional feature for those players who want it. A bit like the option to have the command at all. PVP tends to be consensual, ergo: both parties will fight to the end anyway without anyone bailing out prematurely. The /home command also can protect players from being ambushed by trolls too and being robbed of all their goodies.

I personally like the idea of having a safety net, in case of any mishaps since I tend to gather resources in big numbers a I prepare for a build. If I was to be ambushed and consequently lost all my progress/cool enchanted goods, I might loose motivation to build, which is something I do not want. Inspiration to build is hard to come by for some people and for that inspiration to be squashed seems to be a shame.

I play Minecraft predominantly to build ideas in my head, building is what I enjoy the most and the /home command makes me feel safer whilst gathering the resources I need for my future projects.

I have one thought and one thought only.
When I am mining and I have: a full stack of diamonds, a full stack of gold ore and three stacks of iron. :D
Then suddenly I find myself falling into lava. :shock:
But I am sly, I remember the /home command. 8-)
Then I do not forfeit the last hour of my time. ;)
Or if the /home command is removed, I may just get angry and spawn camp newbs. :twisted:
Or maybe not. :lol:

I love slash home, I know the feeling is not mutual for all players though. Personally, I have always seen the /back and /tpa commands as cheaty but /home to be OK. That being said, I don't think that a 5 minute cooldown or something(maybe longer) on using your /home to be a bad idea.

and spammy, I don't think u should camp newbs....*conduct unbecoming of a zedling* :)

I was kidding / have never done that / will not do that.

btw I think that it (being my comment) sounds much worse when out of context. I think as a whole it is more evident that it is a joke.
