I was banned for stealing a bed. I am used to going onto servers that allow griefing and stealing and I was relatively new so I did not know that it was in fact against the rules as i had not looked through the guidelines very thoroughly. i sincerely apolgogize for my foolish action and i can assure it will never happen again.

Assuming this was on the Zurvival server, you spawned with a rulebook that explicitly stated that stealing was against the rules.
There was no way of not knowing you couldn't steal unless you didn't read the rulebook given to you.
