I got banned for griefing.

Hello.

I recently joined this server due to a friend inviting on to it. I joined the server and without learning any of the rules, I found myself breaking two glass blocks that belonged to another player. I instantly tried to rectify my mistake hastily by covering the hole with dirt blocks, and then I tried to inform the chat of my misdeeds, but I was banned before I could type out my whole message. Now, I am usually not one to intentionally break rules or grief, and had I known about my boundaries before hand, then I would not have made such a juvenile mistake. I would like to be unbanned because my friends and I would all like to have fun together, and in the end isn't that what Minecraft is all about?
