Meh ban (Guruknak)

Hello pals,

I'm a new player who came the very today to play on the server peacefully, and it was all good until I just got banned for grief, without griefing anything ?

After thinking about it 10 seconds, I might have an idea. I took blocks from a guy who put signs saying to "feel free to take whatever you want" and got banned after that. I checked if the player has been online recently, but he told he has not been seen.

I understand your fear and zeal to kick and ban, Minecraft is full of scumbags and trollers. Yet I'm not a griefer nor a thief nor a troll whatsoever, I don't get why I got banned. Check the signs where I was taking blocks away, the very ancient owner of that for-long abandoned base allowed players to take what they wanted. I hope I can get back on the server for I enjoyed playing on it. I can prove my good faith and show the plenty of signs that has been left over.

Regards,

Guruknak

I did see those signs, though they were placed directly on some chests in the basement. I would not have taken those signs to mean dismantling redstone contraptions above ground would be okay. They were placed on specific chests, meaning the items in just the chests with those signs on could be taken. All I saw aas you running through the redstone breaking semi-random blocks of it stopping it from functioning. This is not okay.

I have unbanned you, and I expect you to go back and rebuild that which you broke. Please be more careful in your interpretation of such signs in future.
