Accidentally got banned

Quite a long time ago I made a different appeal, but nothing happened, and I am still banned.
What happened was that I saw a chest, and I simply looked in it, then just randomly dragged my mouse over the items while holding shift (I sneaked before entering it and didn't let go of it, I was tired). I then accidentally left-clicked while it was over some coal.
It was diamonds in that chest. Why would I steal coal?
I hope I will get a reply this time, since I really want to build on my house, which I have spent hours and hours on making. Would be kind of unfortunate to be banned from it just because of a misclick.
