I was only on the server for about half an hour, i tried to look in a friends chest who had not trusted me and i could not, so i believed that if you were not trusted you could not look in their chest. However, according to a friend the day later i found out that if the person does not connect in 10 days, people can look in their chest. Also, i have quite a few other friends on the server who i talk to via the steam voice chat, we all have our own houses west of the spawn. i have been wanting to play with them for a long time, and i was very annoyed that i got kicked after only half an our of playing, because i did not know how it all worked.

It is not true that you are able or allowed to steal from players who have not logged on for 10 days. If you had read the books that you spawned with, you would have seen that we do not allow any stealing from chests whatsoever. The chest that you stole from did not belong to your friend. I do not see any remorse in your appeal. Players on the server work hard at achieving their diamonds etc, and it is entirely unacceptable for another player to waltz in and take it. I am sorry that you feel "annoyed" just think how the other player would feel.

I will not be lifting the ban at this time.

I truly really am sorry for what I did. It was just a few moments of mindless stupidity. I am just really annoyed at myself for being an absolute idiot in thinking it was even sensible. But if I can get the diamonds back to the person in any way I will. And if I (purposefully) do anything like that again it will be good bye from me to the server. The reason I did not read the book was, I was so excited to finally be on a server with my friends that I just did not read the books so I could just get straight on with playing with them, and that was my downfall. I really do not want to cause mischief, I just want to play with my friends.

I'll allow you back on, I take on board your comments in your first post about not being aware of the rules. Though we offer a rulebook, some do not care to read it or feel they would not need to and make assumptions based on their experiences on other servers. If you have any ideas on how to encourage new players to read the rules, or to introduce them to the rules in other, easier, ways I would love to hear them

Welcome back to Zedwork, be sure to read the rulebook (/rulebook get) and avoid taking from any other chests which do not belong to you, or you have not had permission from the chests owner directly.
