My friend was banned from your server yesterday for griefing, however we are not quite sure this is, although I can probably guess. He would contact you himself, however he is unable to access your website because of some problem with his internet connection, so I accepted to speak to you myself. His user on MC is jamesu2h.

He does not have a clear record, however most of his misdemeanor was towards me and some friends who know him personally outside of MC. We are group of five who recently discovered your server a few weeks ago, and I have to say we have greatly enjoyed it as it is very well run and welcoming, the users and guardians being helpful and friendly. We have had very little contact with the other server players as we tend to use Steam voice chat to talk when we are playing, but not only this, we have not terrorised or stolen from other players as far as I know. Jamesu2h has killed two wolves and built-destroyed on some claims. However, the wolves belonged to me and another friend of the group, (Dr_Carrow and Cuttlemaster) and I speak for both of us when we state that we do not have any complaints as it was friendly banter amongst our group. The same goes for any theft from chests. He has only taken items from chests within our group, and he was trusted to do so.

It is prefectly possible that he has accidentally destroyed constructions of other players, however he has not consciously stolen any blocks or items from unclaimed constructions as he has read the Law of the Land and is aware that constructions no matter whether claimed or not should not be tampered with or modified. He has mined in odd places and regions around the map, and may easily have destroyed some structure of a user.

Also, I think its worth mentioning that his brother occassionally accesses jamesu2h´s account to play for a while and "mess about", and after asking him he has admitted to have logged onto your server and "messed about." I do not expect this to be taken to heart, as this could be a perfectly fake excuse invented to convince you to allow my friend back on the server, and I will understand if this part is not taken too seriously, however he has changed his password and denied his brother access to his MC account to avoid future conflict. Please note we are NOT blaming this on jamesu2h´s brother, as we don´t even know exactly why he has been banned, but this is definately a factor.

I sincerely apologise for his griefing on his behalf, and any which our group may have caused unconsciously at any point, and if there is any way we can make it up to the affected server users please let me know. He has been playing MC for a few years now and is aware of other players. He is truly sorry and would be extremely grateful if at some point you could consider unbanning him, as he is going to be much much more aware of other player´s property and land and will compensate for damage.

We normally insist on the player themselves appealing a ban. He was banned because of the obscene image that he carved into the ground in a girl players claim. This is totally unacceptable. After discussions Zedwick and I have decided to let James back on the server. Please ensure that the brother does not access this account as we will not be as forgiving again. We do not allow account sharing, and it is James' responsibility to keep his password secret. LB

LB I was unaware of this, and have spoken to him about it, and he's told me he did not know it was someone's claim. Even so he agrees it was completely inappropriate and he apologises. We are very grateful for your descision to allow him back into the server, and in the future he will change his attitude.
