This idea has probably brought up before, but in case it hasn't something that would be nice to see in the lvs spawn is a warp library that has all the old warps like extreme hills or blutopia.

Just wanted to say Blutopia has never been a warp!

And it has been discussed before, all the old warps and current warps have an easy and direct route from the nether hub and that will most likely continue to be the case...

But it could be good to hear what other people think :D

This was discussed on the 27th of January 2018, was decided it was "probably unnecessary to have a new room with warps to the old warps". The topic then meandered about eventually ending on discussing making places to tell people about points of interest around the server (which had already been done anyway) rather than any yes/no on an old warp hub.

Yup. Talked about before. I'm still in favour of the idea if the good public were to have a change of heart.

If we are going to talk about warps would it be an idea to retire a old warp and make a entirely new warp/city ones 1.13 is out?

A new warp feels a bit out of place considering River Bend just got up and running. Still plenty of space there I think.

I do have a topic for this meeting, hope you are ready because it is a Market topic, our favorites.

It has come to my attention that once again Market underpayment has been happening. The people that this has happened to can report it themselves, and really should be doing so.

Clearly this is utterly unacceptable and must be stopped, the whole Market relies on trust entirely and if we can't trust that the right payment will be delivered then the whole system stops working.

Now I don't think we need any major changes for this, I think that the current rules are fine as long as people actually report these things in a timely manner which from talking to a few people seems to be not the case. They of course also need to be dealt with by Zedwick (otherwise reporting them would be pointless) with punishments distributed accordingly.
Some have expressed an opinion that when underpayed to it feels little more than a minor inconvinience, and fine. But although this crime may not be the most distressing, or with the most value lost, it is something that erodes the working of the market as long as it happens. And that is important.

Some other ideas did float around too which I will say here so we can talk about them a bit. To be honest I don't really like any of them very much but without the theft being dealt with something else may need to be done.
-Market gated access using some overcomplicated and laggy redstone thing. Fps in the market is already not great, idea behind this was to have some way of tracking market activity. Redundant with Zeds logging, assuming said logs are used.
-Some kind of not ban punishment for those found to have underpayed for a first time, with people not wanting to get people banned for an honest mistake. Removing market access for these people? Perhaps revoking zedling privilages for some period of time?
-Redstone shops are entirely impractical as they are too large. Can work some places but the Market has too many shops for it to be reasonable.
-A command block/function enforced shop might work but it would be difficult to make it good enough and versitile enough to be worth using. Such is the price of no plugins.

Something I do think could help is some kind of organized effort to identify underpayments in a timely manner, as a lot of the time the person who owns the shop may not check it for some time. If some people would go around the markets once a week or so and check for underpayment, could then give a list to zed which gives a more useful timeframe.

(I'm also gonna say that I might not make it, probably will but might not)

Just would like to stick in here that the full idea for the LVS Pro-Masons has been fleshed out and is ready (as requested) to add to the wiki. We'll just discuss briefly where to put it on said wiki briefly at the meeting. That being said, with the demolition service up and running (once it's utilised), I expect new players are gonna be interested in building on empty plots within existing warps or even old warp towns. Possibly we can set up a little 'Central Park' plot in each town where zedlings old and new can pass by and plant a tree or two (different varieties) to give the newbies something to build with...?

I agree that additional rules wouldn't assist with underpayments. It could not be more clear that buyers are to pay the stated price.

What could perhaps be clearer is what a seller should do if they do get under-paid. Most of us are probably aware that zed should be told, but not necessarily what info he needs to successfully investigate. Some sellers may not be aware at all.

Having people look out for underpayments (maybe not even in a organised/designated way, but a woolly, neighbourhood-watch way) and raising them when they're found should help crack down on it. May help establish a pattern if it is one or two specific scallywags underpaying across several people.

PS - Straight up, would be as against redstoning/automating the shops as I am price-fixing. Nope nope nope nope

Khas, I think Memery volunteered himself to help you get the wiki page set up in the last meeting - might be worth bugging him about. If you two got the page set up ahead of time, you could announce it at the meeting and link so everyone can have a look see ;D
