Minecraft 1.15 & ZestyLand

ZestyLand changelog
  • Bee nests attached to a falling tree will now also be affected by gravity.
  • flowers, sapling, grass blocks and tall grass next to trees will no longer provide anti-gravity to the tree blocks.
  • flowers, saplings and tall grass below falling logs/nests will be broken,

Please note: bee nests, like logs, which fall onto non-full blocks like slabs and stairs will be destroyed just like logs. Due to technical limitations, this will also destroy the bees currently inside the nest.

Please provide feedback for this change. The above changes may not be present on Zurvival after the upgrade to 1.15.1 tomorrow.

Zurvival has begun upgrading the world to 1.15.1. This process will take atleast a couple of hours. Progress will be broadcast in the lobby.

Whoops, forgot to say Zurvival finished upgrading and is now on 1.15.1!

1.15.2 is now out, but unfortunately my computer is refusing to boot as of mid day yesterday so am unable to test and deploy this new version. Hopefully I can work out my computer’s issues and get you all updated with the new version soon!

Wanted to make a small report on bees.
As promised, you can spawn a hive when you grow a tree near a flower. It's made pretty easily. But!
The resultant hive has no bees in it. This is confirmed by 4 different people.
The only way you can have some bees of your own is this:
1. Spawn your own bee hive.
2. Come to spawn and find the bee nests.
3. Place your bee hive near them.
4. Breed some bees using flowers (breed 3-5).
5. Wait until the night, when all the bees go to sleep. Have a close look at your bee hive. You want to see at least 2 bees coming in.
6. When everybody's asleep, you can break your hive using any silk touch tool (or use a campfire trick).
7. Celebrate! Now you have a good start for your bee'ndeavors!

tested this new feature in a creative world (1.15.2 world) and placed down popeyes and oak sappling. Two got beehives, both had two bees in them. So it's not a version issue

Zurvival is now on 1.15.2.

I am not able to replicate the above issues on LVS, and know other people are getting bees in their trees, so hope it is not a continuing issue.

ZestyLand is guaranteed to continue to run for 1 month from today.

As for the bee problem, on LVS I was on my island and was able to get bees via some birch saplings. I'm not sure why but I got four of them, all had 3 bees in the spawned-in hives.
