I got support on the phone this morning, over 7 hours ago, and we managed to make some progress by solving one of the issues preventing further work on this in just over an hour. However I have not been able to talk to support in the last 5-6 hours so nothing has really moved since then.
The server is currently completely offline, with no access to the internet, and has been that way since yesterday. I cannot login remotely, and after paying for separate "physical" access via usb in the datacentre yesterday (which we only got working earlier today) I can see that I cannot communicate with any other server over the internet from it, except the gateway which would connect it to the internet. I have not yet been able to determine the cause, and am really just waiting for our host to do more debugging from their end. I do not believe I will hear from them until tomorrow morning now, so the server will not be back today.
I'm sorry I don't have better news for you all. I believe this has been the longest period of downtime for the whole server network we've had since it began 8 years ago. Hopefully this record-breaking maintenance won't last too much longer.
