Banned for thievery

Hi, I just wanted to find out why i got banned for thievery.
It would be greatly appreciated if i could find out the reason as it has been on my head for a long time as i have never really found out.

Hello,
I got banned a few months prior for thievery although I don't exactly know what I stole. What ever it is that I stole I very much regret doing so and if i was to be given a second chance I would appreciate it greatly. When I was banned from the server I was put off Minecraft as i had been looking for a perfect server for a long time and now that i had finally found one I had been banned right after. I hope i can be accepted back, and i will be sure to read through the rules and follow them through all the time.
