[Zz] Refine hopper limit to "open" hoppers

Do you have an idea on how to improve the server? Or have a brilliant idea for an event? Or any other requests? This is the place to voice them.

Update!

Ilmango did a test using the carpet mod and realized that with the newer changes, furnaces aren't that effective in reducing lag anymore. His test showed that furnaces actually was worse than air blocks.. but also that droppers are far superior.
However when Xisumavoid did the same (similar) test he received a bit different results. I'll but a link to both videos below.

I guess this means I need to remove all those furnaces and craft a whole bunch of droppers :/

Hello Zed and everyone,

I am bringing this thread back to life to ask the following...
Is it possible for the hopper limit be upped to 32 per chunk. My reasoning is that it would be nice to have a continuous row of hoppers for an item sorter as pictured below.

I also have to admit that for personal reasons I am unable to fix/mend the item sorter in one of my regions.
If it was raised to at least 30 hoppers I could fix it, but 32 seems to be a better number ;).

Let me know what you think,

Chester
