In the absence of both a host and a backup host, Dax volunteered to host us in Auroluto

We are getting close to the most wonderful time of the year. And as such we discussed the possibilities of holding Christmas events on the server. There was some fond memories shared of the Christmas meal we did a previous year and we discussed arranging it this year too. We've suggested two dates, the 11th and the 18th december. Dax and Forseth will meet up at the old Christmans area at the evening of the 20th of November and look into refurbishing it Feel free to join us, it's at the following coordinates: X8546 Z15022 and you can reach it by following the orange world border tunnel. We will decide more on this topic next meeting but nothing is concluded yet though.

Confusion when towers appeared behind the meeting, which apparently always was there, and players sighted on the server. Normal ZZ behavior it seems.

===Updates and Terrain Generation - TheMrPayne===
A worried question about potential future added content and access to it on the server, and a friendly reminder to Zedwick to keep working on the resource dimension reset. Zedwick had this to say: "To be clear, when I say the resource dimension can no longer generate new unique seeds I did not mean it would not be able to generate new 1.20 and beyond terrain. The resource dimension can still get all the new content. It just can't change the terrain every time it resets as it always use the same world seed." <br /> But lo and behold, there is good news! Zedwick continued: "Instead of generating a fresh seed, the resource dimension's warp post will instead travel the world! Every reset the world will be erased and the warp post will be generated in a new random location in the world Each Minecraft world is limited to 60 x 60 milion blocks, so there's plenty of land out there to explore."<br /> So expect a newly reset Resource Dimension soon. <br />

Darth gave us our biweekly report of his spies on ZZ. The latest rumor is that the ZZ meetings will have meeting once a month and start taking attendance again, so make sure to put your apologies in If you can't attend. Neytan suggested to build a Spy Prison, should a spy ever be discovered on LVS. <br />

DarthDuck84 reminded everyone that the event to decorate the boring old walls of the beginner farm will end December 1st, and that there are still some walls left to decorate. If you want to decorate a wall then come on down <br />

===Halloween? - DarthDuck84===
Darth wondered if anyone had planned to organize an event on the server for Halloween. He was met with an eerie silence. Zedwick urged players who wants to hold any kind of event on Halloween to do so, as it is a fun tradition.

There is also some maintenance to be planned as the host of Zedwork has told Zedwick of upcoming rising costs and he is working on ways to downscale and reduce costs. <br />
Zedwick has also been busy and hasn't been able to work on Zesty Games as much as he wanted, but it is still being worked on. <br />

How old is it and why is it so hard to find Mangrove Swamp? Zedwick pointed out that the resource world was many months old now and the he should probably wipe it. Zedwick suddenly announced it will reset in 2 weeks! (Remind Zedwick of this at next meeting). So vacate the world before then. (Someone forgot their claimed parrot?) <br />

===A Question of View - TheMrPayne===
The question was what happened to view distance, some people have been wondering. They assume it's tied to the server but would like an explanation. Mr Payne argues that the view distance on single player worlds and other server is fine, but on Zedwork it's limited. One problem is the nether, which we believe is due to the Fog that changed in 1.19. <br />
Zedwick said that nothing was intentionally changed for view distance on Zedwork with 1.19, but two changes in recent versions may have made it feel like it had changed. The simulation distance and entity render distance has changed to be affected by the view distance, although it can also be changed in the server settings separately too. And the fog is no longer a square but a circule/cylindar around the player, so the corner of the chunks around you will be cut off. <br />
Zedwick has now increased the view distance slightly to compensate, which will take effect after the next server reboot. Might be lowered again if more players start to come online. Let Zedwick know how it feels by next meeting. <br />

===Loaded Chunks - Forseth===
Once we had issues with loaded chunks in oceans that filled the spawn cap for squids, causing them to be rare on the server. Now that we have lower Y values, is those chunk still spawning mobs? <br />
Zedwick couldn't confirm whether this was an issue or not, but would fill in the newly discovered area anyway. <br />

===Possible Bridgeburg Building Competition - Neytan269===
As Neytan is back from a burnout, they are continuing their duties as a Mayor. Since the population of Bridgeburg is low and most buildings are made by the mayor, they will soon host a build competition. As for the area itself, it's coming together with streetlamps, decorations and
next project will be an actual farm. But for now, preparation of a future build competition is underway, with some fancy prices promised. <br />

The council meets bi-weekly to discuss matters important to the community. These may include proposed events, modifying or creating the infrastructure (The Market, Nether Hub, railways, funds etc.), or hassling Zed to change how the server is run. Council members are voted in by existing members. There is currently a limit of 20 members of the council at any one time, with places opening up as existing members become inactive.

<li>Council Meetings are run by the host, who is responsible for selecting the location and organising the schedule for the meeting. A new host is selected at each meeting. </li>

<li>Banned players are to be immediately removed from the council members list upon ban. <li>Meetings have a maximum of 90 minutes for topic discussion; 30 minutes for any one topic. <li>The Council may take a "poll" to get an opinion on a topic. This is distinct from a "vote" as the outcome is not a concrete decision, but just providing an opinion. As of April 2nd, it's been 10 years since Zedwork started, and 9ish years since LVS began =D Time flies when you're having fun!

===Beginner Farm Wall Decorating continues!===
The glorious wall event at the beginner farm is still ongoing, until the next LVS meetin at the end of the month. Several lovely designs have already taken place, but there's still a fair few spot going, so if you want to make your mark on the walls of the beginner farm, head on down!
Several people have generously provided all sorts of decorative blocks for your use, but it's definitely worth checking out besides as there's a lovely range of designs for the lookin' :D If you have any queries Darth will be eager to assist.

===News from Zedwick's hat===
A bunny? =O But where did it come from?!
At the ZZ meeting, Zedwick regaled them of a story of ZZ's very beginnings, and the day Zedwick found why they ''might'' not want unrestricted PVP. "A lesson I forgot when I decided to open LVS", which is a story he promises to tell for LVS's ten year celebrations next year!

But then the wool was pulled from our eyes as Zed explained that Zedwork is ''gasp'' not actually 10 years old D:
A few years before that he ran another server called 'a Zedwork', which wasn't minecrafty at all! Instead it was for a game called "Starsiege: Tribes", a game that was already old by the time 'A Zedwork' came around
In any event, it was an exclusive Zedwork lore drop, available only to the attendants of the council. We all felt very privileged to be the only people to hear this story. =D

In any event, happy anniversary again! The council did many joyous crouches in celebration
