We began our meeting inside the head of a giant octopus, hosted by the lovely Spectatre, who was wearing an elaborate disguise that I almost mistook her for the real Santa. As people started to arrive, our attention was focused on Zedwick, who had somehow managed to make himself about half a block shorter than everyone in order to fit into his chair. This greatly concerned everyone, and was even proposed as our first topic, but Zed convinced us he was fine.
 
As we started getting our seats, it became apparent that we were scribeless. Memery was missing, Spectatre was hosting, and ABP said he had to make dinner while the meeting was happening (probably baking more pies). And so, my hands shaking only slightly (for I am the bravest Lapis Lazuli out there), I stepped forward and offered my services. It was quickly agreed upon, and I became the scribe.

===Topic 1: Topic 1- Zedworks Wiki is Borked - Spectatre===
This topic was handled with great speed and efficiency, as it was settled before the meeting even began. While we were all speculating how Zedwick had made himself shorter, Spectatre raised the issue that the Zedwiki is apparently down. Zed told us not to be alarmed, it was not permanent. Apparently That site had received an unusual amount of traffic recently and the servers decided to take a break from working. So, instead of letting the Wiki and the forums go to sleep, Zed decided to temporarily shut down the Wiki to save the forum. What a guy.
 

===Topic 2: Pride Haven - AlyCatMeow===
As Spec passed the microphone to AlyCatMeow for her topic, I noticed a drowny boi sneaking up on our meeting. So, like any hero, I sprang into action, launching into the water and slicing him with my sword before even realizing I had forgotten to put my armour back on. My foe vanquished, I returned to the octopus, where Aly was just beginning to share information about her new town for the LGBT community, Pride Haven.

Pride Haven is inspired by the LGBT shrine in Forest Hills. According to Aly, members of the LGBT community and their allies are welcome to build there. Her only build rule is to build as fabulous as you possibly can. If you wish to visit, Pride Haven is at the end of the West Border Tunnel, down a rainbow tunnel.

===Topic 3: Nether Tree Farm - Spectatre===
Spectatre became the speaker once again, and used her red name to tell us about a brand-new farm that CrazyElliot has been building in the Nether. It will have trees, wool, and more! He would love feedback about it, so if you want to visit, take a boat down the South Border Tunnel, and go all the way to the end.
 

===Topic 4: Secret Santa! Woohoo! - Raysun===
Raysun gave a surprise topic at this point! He is running the Secret Santa event for LVS! He has made a post on the General Discourse on the forum ([https://zedwork.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3029#p11768 Here]), and you can reply there or message him in game to be included! He will receive participants till 18 of December, then on the 19th he will distribute names to everybody! It will be a soopr fun way to give presents and have fun with your fellow Zedlings!
 

===Announcementz/Next Meeting===
At this point, our fearless leader, Zedwick, stepped up to make his announcements. A hush fell over us as we waited on the edge of our seats in anticipation. Here they are:

Before the meeting really got going, MasterBoy treated everyone to a lovely fireworks day. As a reminder for non-English players, this time of year is special for us Brits as we remember remember that one time our whole government and monarchy nearly got blown the heck up. We celebrate this by burning the guy who nearly did it and blowing stuff up... It doesn't make much sense to me either... 

===Topic 1: KhasOrn is the new mayor of Forest Hills! ===

After an exciting race over the past two weeks, where the people of LVS flocked in their tens to cast their vote for who they believed should be the mayor of Forest Hills, KhasOrn emerged victorias! As the 5th person to hold the office, what changes will Khas bring to the warp? Only time will tell. I for one would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Khas on his victory and hope he has a long and exciting time as Mayor!

With ThatNurd as host, topics and discussion moved faster than Zed does away from freshly ironed underpants. Forseth summarised an intense few minutes of discussion with this handy message:

===Topic 4: Tidying up a quiet market===

Something that has been brought up in the past (and discussed at great length) the Zriends were asked about what they intended to do about inactive personal shops at the market. Ara pointed out that there were still plots available and that the Zriends had all agreed that plots would be made available only when they were needed.

Some players then pointed out that they frequently stumbled into cobweb infested shops (I just had the best idea I'll tell you in a sec). So the Zriends agreed they would leave some sort of indication that a shop was inactive.

The idea I just had while writing these notes: I will go around and place actual cobwebs into inactive and unstocked shops. I'm sure that will be enough of an indication that the shop is out of stock and inactive. I think it's a great idea.
 
 

===Topic 5: Buttons in the Nether Directional Tunnels===
Another short topic! Hurrah for me! Fed up with debating this, I left the meeting and placed a chest filled with the correct buttons down for players to use to button up the directional tunnels. Originally Alan's idea from a few months ago, buttons are being placed in the directional tunnels such that mobs are unable to spawn and block the tracks. Its happening right now, so go and help when you're done reading this! Its done!!!!

=History=
Having played minecraft sinds beta his building skills where already good enough not make everyone laugh. So ones settling on the server around 2015 ish he started building a train station for forest hills something which exists to this very day. So after finishing his first proper house it was time to start a real base in a lake near forest hills south

== Lore ==
The great city of Mare, was founded solely on the story of two lovers. The pirate captain Tacticalcreeper set her charges out one long day ago, in search of treasure, but what she found was far greater indeed. In the shadow of a hulking desert pyramid was a lonely beach. Upon it Tac saw the most beautiful girl covered in rags and dust. After beaching the boat, the captain approached the beautiful girl. She was nervous and untrusting, so in effort to calm her Tac held out an elegant blue orchid. The girl took it and her voice chimed as she explained she was a slave, building the looming mountain of sandstone behind her. Tac had become angered at her mistreatment and stole her away aboard her ship. The beautiful girl’s name was Huntresslove and while traversing the world they grew happy together. One day the ship captain proposed a marriage to Hunt. She quickly agreed and they exchanged rings. The ceremony was quaint aboard the ship. The audience was consisted of creepers and crewmates, but neither of them could say their vows. Tac’s uncle, who was cross at this situation, charged at the lovers and exploded, sending Hunt flying into the ocean. Before Tac could save her, she herself was thrown into the brig. She swore an oath to destroy every creeper that crossed her path from that day on. Hunt had awoken in a swamp cradled by the blue orchids that grew there. Reminded of her love, Hunt began to build a great ocean temple. One so large that any passing ship could see. Through the tiny porthole Tac saw it. Saw it and love had replaced rage and despair. She fought over the ship and when she regained control charged full speed to meet her love. They had a huge ceremony and were finally deemed married and ready to rule the growing city of Mare, together and always.
