== Zedkins Seconds 25th November 2017==

Today, I'm not only your director but also your scribe, so good that this meeting wasn't too eventful :D 

First things first, a depiction of the meeting, I am sorry to disappoint in terms of creativity.

== Attendance ==

We had an almost full house! Present were:

While Sneaky and Shaw were a bit late, Mellori_ unfortunately didn't make it, earning him a strike :( 

Meanwhile, Stigma is still on extended leave. 


== Topics ==


The meeting began a bit delayed, since some... ''*cough* totally not me *cough*'' ...  were still playing in ZestyGames in the games event hosted by Zed.


=== Zen: Winter Decorations ===

It was decided that it would be a good time to start on winter decorations, letting loose some snow golems (Jasmyn promised to clean up. Let's not forget that!), building decorational snowmen and then come December start to decorate for Christmas as well. 
This will be a community effort: people are invited to decorate, as long as they ask a Zedkins member. (Remember, bigger decisions around Zen need 3 members present, but smaller decorations aren't a major change) 

So, I'll be looking forward to that :D 

=== Zen: Building plans ===

The Post Office is still an issue, which will still need to be addressed soon. 
Meanwhile Jasmyn hoped to start on the docks and Market Hall in south Zen come the 20th. 

So, nothing changed, everything's on hold as usual ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


=== Zedwick's announcements === 

After that, Zedwick announced the upcoming events. And I have to say, December is packed full with them! <small>''(as if it's not already a busy enough month)''</small>

Here is the list:

# Build-Off (with voting) 26th Nov, 4 - 9 pm GMT
# Casual Build-Off (like the pumpkin carving) 3rd Dec, 4-9pm GMT Topic: "Building a natural Tree"
# UHC 10th Dec, 6pm GMT
# Casual Build-Off 17th Dec, 4-9pm GMT Topic: "Tree Decorating" <small>(guess which trees)</small>
# ??? Maybe something on the 24th Dec ... still in planning
# Build-Off 31st Dec 4-9pm GMT

Earlier the evening the idea of a casual build-off featuring snowmen would be a cool idea, so that may come in January. Stay tuned.

=== Discussion about the Forum ===

Soon the meeting developed into a discussion about the forum, Zedwick's lightyear long to-do list and CSS designs. 
One point being raised <small>(again)</small> was the fact that the General Discussion category is so full of Pre-Meeting and Notes for 2 Councils that it makes it hard to filter the important stuff and discouraging to use the forum at all. So from now on, the Zedkins Seconds will be posted directly onto the Wiki and the Forum will only contain one thread in which the notifications and links to the Seconds on the forum will be posted. 
This easy switch is only possible due to the great work that Mellori_ did with archiving the previous seconds on the forum and updating the list, as well as organizing the category. Thank you!

So, with this these relativly boring notes are ending. Sorry that I can't provide as much entertainment or such amazing art as other scribes can. :(
