Recurring Events
Casual Buildathon
The Casual Buildathon usually happens on the last Sunday of each month, as well as during special occasions such as Christmas, Easter and Halloween. Each Buildathon is given a theme or prompt for players to build to, though as it is casual, the theme is not too strict.
Buildathons sometimes feature variations in relation to an occasion or theme, such as the Mega Buildathon, which featured plots which were four times larger than normal.
Screenshots from past Buildathons can be found on the forums, here.
Zesty Games Free Hosting
Usually after newly released Zesty Games are added, or old Zesty Games are updated, this event allows Zedlings to host Zesty Games, and Zesties to host Zesty+ games.
An alternate version of this event is where only a specific minigame is available for hosting, as has happened with Dungeon Dash.
Collections
Occurring in the build up to the New Year, the Collection gifts a new item - usually with a coloured name and lore text - every day to those who log on. Some items serve to commemorate events of the year, offering a review of the last 12 months on Zedwork.
Lately, the Collections have made use of Advancements, allowing you to easily see which ones you have, and taunting you with the ones you missed.
Christmas Lunch
Occurring in December each year, this event alternates between the servers. The meal is usually prepared by Lady, while both she and Zed wow us with command block magic.
Discontinued Recurring Events
UHC
Similar to the current recurring event, the Casual Buildathon, the UHC event took place once a month until towards the end of it's appearances, in which it appeared somewhat sporadically.
UHC or Ultra Hardcore, is a pvp event where players are dispersed randomly about a normal Minecraft world and are set a time limit to gather resources before the world border starts to shrink.
Health does not recover naturally in this gamemode. and the last person surviving wins.
The winner would be tweeted out on the Zedwork Twitter page.

Hoe Bounty 2020
Hosted by Mellorian, the Hoe Bounty event started during the LVS Council Meeting on the 8th of August, 2020.
The event required players to break the newly added Netherite Hoes, with the player whom broke the most winning the prize.
A topic was made on the forums, which accumulated many memes over the two week period of the event.
