This is a starter guide for the server Zedwork Zurvival.
The Spawn
You will spawn in a region called Bridgeways. A little flying particle ball called Zpirit will lead you the way to the community farm for food. Read what it says for valuable tips.
Furthermore you will spawn with the Law of the Land, which describes the most important rules of the server, as well as a book on how to claim land and use the claims plugin.
If you ever loose those rulebooks, due death for example, use
/rulebook get
for another set of them.
Your first house
It is recommended for you to start out in the region you spawned in. Follow the paths a bit and you will surely find a nice spot not far off! With placing down your first chest, you create a 9 blocks by 9 blocks claim around it. If you want to play with friends, use
/trust [playername]
so they can build on your claim.
Later on you can still search for a bigger permanent home in a far off region, if you desire so.
Ranks on the Server
By now you may have noticed that other players on the server have differently colored names. This is because the server has different ranks. A new player will have no rank and a white name.
List of all Ranks:

| Grey | AFK | Unrelated of Rank, if people are away from the keyboard for a few minutes, they will appear grey in the player list. |
In addition some people have little badges next to their name. Hoover over them to learn more.
To check your status on your way to Zedling, use
!hoursplayed
to see how many of the 15 hours are still left.
Then use
/rank set Zedling ????
to set your rank!
Regions
As a new player, regions should not yet be very important for you. You will get to know other regions and farmiliarize yourself with this kind of travel over time. To travel to other regions, use
/visit [region name]
