Topics
The council meeting kicked off in a stunning birdcage made by none other than ZZ's own Mellorian. It was made out of a stunning amount of cobble, of course, and our seats were very fashionably suspended in midair above a great pool of water several blocks down. Sitting at the center of attention was Susy, Mell's beloved parrot, basking in the glow of our appreciation and awe at the cobbly birdcage. As we took our seats and prepared to begin, Spectatre asked who would volunteer to be scribe, since she was hosting and couldn't do it. Almost immediately, ABParadigm graciously volunteered me (SooprJ) to be the scribe. And I, who had looked away from my keyboard for a split second to get a drink, was not able to inform the council that I had completely forgotten how to put the notes on the wiki. And with that, the topics began.
Time is relative, anyway
babybop224 started out our first topic by informing us that the Zedwork's forum was displaying an incorrect time for the British timezone. The time displayed for him was a few hours off. This of course sparked an intense debate on the relativity of time, as these things often do. While we spoke about how weird time on the forums was being for all of us, Zed said he would take a look at the forums and fix it, saying the forum should be displaying the correct time for the timezone each of us is in. But time is just a construct, so are clocks really that important?
The Sad Tale of a Lost Shulker
Khasorn then made quick work of his topic, announcing to us that a shulker containing his tools was left at the site of the community Christmas build in December. He asked that if anyone finds it that they let him know. LadyBountiful then told him that one of the blues found a shulker similar to what he was describing, so KhasOrn decided to ask the blues if they had it. Hope you find it KhasOrn!
Bendy Armor Stands
The next topic brought up was that of bendy armor stands. Some servers have plugins that allow for customizational armor stands, along with the ability to pose them and make them invisible. The question was raised if LVS should adopt this. After much discussion (probably the majority of the actual meeting), the decision was made to leave armor stands the way they are, in order to keep LVS feeling as vanilla as possible.
With that, the meeting concluded. No nominations were given, so the question of who would host next meeting. No one stepped forward, so hopefully by next meeting someone will have.
Hope everyone has a Soopr Awesome day!
