Zed's Epic Poem of Love, Friendship and an Apple (Act 1, Scene 1)

Since it was a rather quiet, peaceful meeting at first, we moved straight ahead to Zed's announcements.

He, eager to not disappoint, recited to us a poem that would last through the ages!

Roases are red, Violets are blue,

Well, last until the end of the weekend, at any rate.

Mellori then took the opportunity to thank Zed for such a wonderful Valentine Build-off those few days back.

While not judged, everyone that entered certainly gave it their all - including an entry from Zed for what I assume to be the first time!

Some 'rad' builds all round.

At this point, at a loss for topics, the council (Mellori and Zed) decided to vote in a new member.

Barry the cobble was confident in his approach, and more than willing to become a part of the community, but unfortunately only received two votes - one of which being an apple - and so he was sacrificed to the cobble go-

Erm, sent into retirement.

It was here that the late members showed up, conveniently after Zed's announcements....

After a few minutes discussion and apologies, we brought up the new MentionBeep feature made by Hype Human!

A very cool utility that sends a sound to your computer if anyone mentions at least three letters of your name!

The1Shaw loves it the most.

I suppose I didn't need to put any puns in after all...

You know, this reminds me of that time I rang up British Telecom.

Guy picks up the phone on the other end, and asks "How can I help you?"

"I'd like to report a nuisance caller!"

He said "Not you again!"
