Market

The Market, located on the north-east edge of the LVS spawn town, is an area where Zedlings and above ranks may trade with each other. New players cannot access the area, and will be teleported out of the area if they attempt to go into it. The market is a protected area, where only Zriends are able to place or break blocks (with the exception of certain special market items). The Market was originally run by _Laurens_, but the day to day running and maintenance of the market is now handled by the Zriends.

Buying & Selling

The Market is divided into different areas for selling different things, such as the blacksmith (for weapons and armour), food store, wood shop, valuables and more, allowing for trade of any item to take place.

Buying: The spawn market uses a buying system commonly referred to as an "honour" system. It is based on trust. Items will be found in chests with a price next to OR inside a chest with a named item. To buy an item, take the item(s) you wish to buy and replace the item with the stated price.
Please make sure you pay the correct price. If you do not, it is considered to be stealing, which is against the rules.

Selling: To claim a chest, place a special market sign on light blue glass above a chest. Make sure you include the item you are selling, the price, and your in-game name. To make the special market signs, throw a sign on to the sign converting system, which can be found by the nether portal.
If you make a mistake, a Zriend can help you remove signs.
Personal Shop Plots: There are personal shop plots on the east side of the market. These shop have items sold by a specific player(s) in them. Zriends build personal markset shops for proven market sellers.
Proven sellers are those who've reliable sold and re-stocked items. Personal shops may use multiple plots if 2 or more active and reliable sellers group up.

The Market trading system is trust based; any breaches of this is taken very seriously.

• Do NOT reverse trade (taking payment and replacing with sold item)
• Do NOT pay later (No IOU's)
