Scribe: Mellori ~ See Forum Minutes
What's this? Mellori is back as scribe? Damn, better not read this one - there could be puns anywhere.
I bet he doesn't even like guava.
Sponsored by DD, soon to be released!
I'm the man with the pen, and I shall be your cobble persuasion representative for this evening.
What's that Carl? I can't use this segment to persuade people to place cobble?
And I can't call back to imaginary people to save face?
Damn.

Those who done don't the meeting:
-Dogzack123 (Excused)
-The1Shaw (May not have a computer)
An excellent turnout, considering half the people who were there said they wouldn't be.
Such a wondrous get together really makes you consider guavas - perfect, green and round, as they are.

The start of the meeting was slightly delayed due to fan problems.
Something about it not applauding jokes, idk.
But we eventually swung right into things with WolfGuy's first Zz host!
Always knew he was an underdog. Pun intended.

A Change of Seasoning (youtube link)
Standing tall and proud, Wolf lead into an expertly made speech on the changing of the seasons.
He regaled us with tales of melting snow, of blooming flowers, of giant guavas.
He told unto us that we must unite so as to clear away the snow and ice that has crept into Zen.
For Spring is here, and a change of decorations is in order!
Silence followed his speech, broken only by Mellori's proud tears, before the crowd (read, Mellori and Dark) let out great cheers and applause!
It was here that Treiskaideka brought some sensibility back into the meeting, mentioning the chests of flowers that Rickard had donated to this cause. The Zedkins took a moment to thank him for his kindness.

An Eggcellent Easter
With Spring decorations discussed, the council moved onto the possibility of an Easter Community Event, what with the next meeting being the day before April 1st. After some suggestions, and a nod to the pumpkin hunt of last year, we decided on an egg hunt.
While some details are still to be decided on, the gist (to be elaborated in a forum post nearer the time) is that named eggs will be hidden around Zen in item frames. Books would then be provided for people to copy down the names of said eggs, before submitting these books in a hopper.
The Zedkins could then use these books to see who found the most, or even all, of the eggs to award prizes.
We also talked about using a Dragon Egg as a bonus hidden egg, which would award a bonus prize.

Buildings in Zen
Treiskaideka took this moment to suggest some changes to some buildings in Zen, even tentatively suggesting the use of... less cobble.
Mellori has filed the request with the Cobble Federation, and these changes will most likely be in effect soon, if not already.
The new animal house was also mentioned -
recently having been built by Treiskaideka to house lost and abandoned animals found around Zen.
A beautiful, homely build indeed.

Community Events
Shortly after the Easter Community Event topic, Dorestroyer asked about there being more regular community events, rather than just each holiday. This led to a discussion on how we could set up more semi-permanent events which would require less constant input than the holiday events we run in Zen.
One of the suggestions was a survival build-off which could feature a new theme every Zedkins and be judged around the same time period.
This would require a plot system, similar to the actual buildoffs that Zed and Lady set up, and as such would need a region to call home.
The first name to come up was the Carnival region next to Zen, which already features several mini game builds.
Deciding to see how this would work in said region, we also agreed on plot sizes being fairly small (11 by 11), and built a lovely house to put those show-offs over on LVS to shame.

Zeddy Announces Announcements
Having remained fairly quiet this meeting, Zed finally steps forward to distract the Zedkins from decorating their new home.
He starts off with a slew of Dungaree Dash news:
Dungeon Dash Open Beta this weekend and over Easter weekend (March 30th to April 2nd)
Dungeon Dash Release Date set, Friday April 6th! Mark your calendars, your diaries and your dungarees!
Casual Build Off 25th March - 4pm to 9pm BST
And now with some kinda sad, not really, a bit, but still, news!
Zed and Lady have decided that the judging of build-offs has been subjective in the past, and hope to change that.
For now, they're going to stand down judging build-offs, and therefore not award prizes to players.
Some feel this is a bad thing, that it cuts motivation, but I'd like to remind everyone that this will allow both Zed and Lady to participate more in said events! Perhaps not building themselves, but now they're free to joke around and discuss builds with players as they're building them!
Judging - and therefore prizes - may return in the future, once they've decided on a way to make it fair for everyone, but in the meanwhile Treiskaideka suggests we do a poll on which builds we like on the forum when the screenshots are released to allow for it to maintain a competitive aspect.
On that note:
BuildEvent 1st April - 4pm to 9pm BST
Definitely not an Easter related theme
And finally:
UHC 8th April - 6pm BST
I feel I should remark here, that the server will be changing from GMT to BST time zones on March 25th.
I've labelled the announcements as such, so be sure to check what time zones you're in!

Well, that sure was a long meeting - two hours in all!
And I didn't even get to mention my CuttleMaster mannequin.
Ah well, it can't compare to his silver tongued, beautifully scented self anyway.
Maybe I should see Zed for a full body massage now...
