Bravely, and perhaps somewhat naively, Dogzack volunteered to host this meeting.

It was upon reaching the third hour that the he realized his mistake.

Welcome to Nysroch!

Last seconds we announced our newest Zedkin - Nysroch - and we spent some time this meeting explaining what we do as a council.

Mell took this opportunity to mention that all Zedkins are required to place at least 7 cobblestone a day, though everyone was distracted by Lala's carrots and sticks, and so it went unheard.

Tallying Strikes

We discussed last meeting on how we would deal with the strikes that had accrued, which we have been lax in enforcing. We decided, then, that we would tallying them up this meeting and put everyone over three strikes back to three, and start enforcing them properly again.

We also discussed how best to show strikes, and decided the Zedkins page would be the best place - to be kept up to date by the seconds writer. What a nice fellow.

Farm Tower

It's been noted a few times that the public Farm Tower in Zen has been broken since the villager changes in the 1.14 update. Mell also pointed out that the flowers in the tree farm would have to go, since 1.15.2 made bee hives spawn from saplings grown near flowers.

Both Dogzack and Nysroch volunteered to look into it, and from last I heard the issue had been at least somewhat fixed.

The Shop District

Here the meeting became somewhat tedious, with the Zedkins discussing and gasp deciding on the wording of various rules and regulations about Zen.

Our first decision was to start a list of all inactive (and non-updated to trust shops) shop buildings in Zen. Dogzack, who had already been conscious of the inactive shops, volunteered to write this list, and it is now on the Zen Log page.

We thought that it would be good to keep record of how long they have been inactive in order to have evidence if we need to clean up inactive shops in the future.

We then spent some time going over the Zen Guidelines page, updating the wording and adding new sections that we felt needed clarification and definitions. Namely - 'Building to Style' and 'Building in a Timely Manner'.

We also went to discuss similar details for District 3 (behind the Post Office in Zen), but decided to post pone it for the pre-agenda/next meeting, since we were reaching the two hour mark.

However, before ending the topic, we did decide to extend the boundary of District 4 (the Shopping District), to envelope two shops which are currently being built.

Words with Zed

As has become a trend of late, Zed asked us all if there were any bugs that we could think of, that perhaps we thought were too inconsequential to be fixed, or that flew under the radar.

Better prepared this time, we spewed a flurry on both bugs and suggestions at Zed, among which was a discussion on cross-server PMs (being able to message players on LVS from Zz, etc.).

He suggested it would be nice to be able to see who was online on the other server, in a better manner than the tab complete that we used to do.

Afterwards, Zed announced a new event on the horizon!

Casual Buildathon Sunday, 23rd of February

4pm-9pm GMT

The theme will certainly not be "Needs Less Cobble".

He also wished to make any Zesties aware of the forum post about Zestyland, in which he is looking for opinions on what it should be used for.

With that, the meeting ended and we all gave a sigh of relief. Gosh, you'd think we were LVS with meetings that long. Pffft.
