DarthDuck84 hosted the meeting at the Beginner Farm near spawn. No scribe was picked, so I the great Dax was volunteered after the meeting to write these notes from memory.

Topics

Wiki Improvements

Memery and Spectatre have been busy bees on the wiki and have made some fancy new LVS templates! Good job to them. Some other wiki things were discussed, such as Zedwick making the increasingly long reference list hidden in a collapsable by default. He says he'll Look into it.

Mining World

Following on from the Zedling_Council_Meeting_2020-07-11 about custom dimensions added (but not completed by mojang) in 1.16 the idea of a mining world was raised. Some discussions were had about the issues with this such as treasure locations being able to be noted down if the same seed was used each time, and alternatives such as expanding the overworld border and having the new land regenerate, with Zedwick saying he needs to clean up the regeneration script before it would be ready for this. Mojangs custom dimensions are not yet complete - maybe 1.17?

Buildathon Themes

The buildathon is coming on the 27th of September! This is good news, and what makes a good buildathon great?! That's right, a good theme. Now for this buildathon a super special theme has been prepared which in a unexpected turn of events is announced before the event! Prepare to flex your creative muscles on the most crispy of themes, the most aesthetic topic of ALL TIME and one officially endorsed by that smelly Zz'er Mellorian the theme will be the unstoppable CO-<REDACTED>.</big>

Beginner Farm and Hotel Build Competition

The beginner farm has some updates. The free food shop is up and DarthDuck84 will be setting up a donation area along with a book with what the beginner farm needs so people can see what it need and what it needs and what can be done to help. The hotel is also being updated, and DarthDuck announced that he will be running a build-off to choose the design for a replacement hotel! Details to follow, keep an eye on the forums for details on this.

Announcements

Coming up on the 27th of September it will be time for another Casual Buildathon! According to Zedwick the theme will be announced at the start but we all know the theme will be <REDACTED> no matter what he puts.

Nominations/Next Meeting

It was at this point that Dax23333 heroicly stepped up to write up the notes, as nobody had been doing that. Now where did that log file go... There were no new members elected at this meeting. Somebody may host next meeting, who that will be is a mystery! A player shuffling machine was suggested which seems like a good idea.
