Friend got banned

was taking my friend to my place when he went through a nether portal and got banned for breaking a glowstone block by accident close to spawn

Thank you for letting us know but your friend will have to appeal. It is best practice for them to do this. If what you say is true then there will be no problem in unbanning him.
