I agree with spectre as well. Also can't we start the nomination process for forest hills yet so the actul election happens after the next meeting?

The current process for electing a warp town mayor is:
- forum thread is posted, allowing players to announce they wish to run and why they think they'd be good for the role (latest example of this here: https://zedwork.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2610 )
- at the following meeting, council members endorse candidates. Any candidate with at least two endorsement goes to a public vote, which is done by a poll on the forum (latest poll post here: https://zedwork.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2659 )
- whichever candidate has the most votes by the next meeting becomes mayor

So hopefully at the next meeting, we can agree that this process should be started.

That is indeed what I meant, it could be strictly a council decision that is made at-the-time.

As for the election process, to be perfectly honest as the last scribe I probably should have put up the election poll but I wasn't sure if I should this meeting as the regulation was just passed, and I haven't been to the last few meetings prior to this so I didn't know exactly what the status of ForestHills was (yes, I read past notes). One of the first things we should do this coming meeting is start the election process, imo.

Totally unrelated to my last reply, I would like to announce the Halloween event. I did not announce it the last meeting due to... unforseen topic changes... and... well I just wanted to get out of there like most of us.

Long story short, Halloween event on October 30th, 2018, at 8:00 PM GMT! Please note, this occurs during a buildathon; it starts during the last hour.

I would encourage everyone to get their building done before 8PM so they can attend the Halloweenathon!

Apologies, not going to be able to make this meeting! I will be away for the day, and the week following it.

Have fun at the meeting!

If the lastseen appears in the logs during the time of the meeting it might not require a formal "topic" during the meeting. Could be handled by the scribe or host "on the down low".

I wouldn't want it to fall through the cracks again solely because we don't want to make it a routine part of the meeting. Same goes for the caretaker as far as I'm concerned.

I won't be at this meeting, as my uncle has insisted on having his birthday on the same day as last year.
