Previously earned claimblocks have been wiped to accommodate the above change to the claimblock limit. Your existing claims will remain in place, however you will not able to claim additional land until you have earned enough claimblocks to cover your existing claims and the new land. If you have more than 600 blocks worth of claims, you will need to unclaim some land before you can claim additional land.

Good news for those a little wary of PVP, all players must now agree to pvp before they can directly harm each other. The rules, however, have not changed. PVP is still fine, and indirect attacks are still possible (lava, for example). Please test the pvp protection thoroughly, especially using any new 1.13 methods of attack. This pvp protection will not be a permanent addition, and will be removed once it has been thoroughly tested.

Players are protected from PvP at all times, unless both have agreed to pvp with the other. Players can easily agree to PvP with patented (not really) sneak & slap technology! Players simply hold their sneak button (default: shift) and slap (default: left click) the other player to challenge them to a duel! The second player can sneak+slap back to agree to pvp. Once both players have agreed to the duel, they can freely hurt each other.
