Then take a tumble into the Idyllic Isle of Dolour, where the ground doth rumble and not all falls quiet ere night~
The event will take place in the dour turned region of Dolour, where the residents have strangely gone missing.
It's up to you, the players, to solve the mystery and uncover what secrets the island holds.
The event will take place on Zz (it's 100% LVS friendly, too), on October the 31st, at 5pm GMT in the region of Dolour, which you'll be able to reach by doing "/visit Dolour" from any region post on the event day.
The event ends at around 7:30pm GMT (perhaps earlier depending on all your skills in solving), when we shall all gather to give prizes.
The Rules:
- Nothing in your inventory except food - equipment/food will be provided and there will be chests to store your things.
- If you should die, you may continue with the event - there will be beds to set your spawn, and you may take a second set of equipment/food upon respawning if your death loot is particularly unreachable.
- The event requires some detective work. To avoid unfair advantages, please keep any discoveries to yourselves! (No teamwork, though you may chat outside of helping each other if you'd like.)
- No /glow
The Aim:
This event is all about your sleuth work! Throughout the island, there are lecterns containing books of lore. You can right click them to peruse the events that have unfolded, and sink a little deeper into the mystery that enshrouds the island!
The first person to whisper me (/w Mellorian) the answer to the mystery will receive the very valuable grand prize, which is blessed by the beard himself! (it's not all cobble)
There will also be a fancy named/lored item and some valuables for everyone who reaches the end, too!
