Good news, everyone!

We forgot all about the upcoming Christmas Meal at the last meeting, which is set to be hosted on Zz this year.

I currently have the 13th of December at 8PM GMT pencilled in for the meal, but Lady and I would be very interested to hear from you all if you would prefer a different date or time!

As the next Zedkins meeting will be just 1 week before the meal, if you would like to organise a new hall you may need to start mobilising before the upcoming meeting.

Every year we host a Christmas Meal which all players across both servers are invited to attend. You'll be able to choose your meal from Lady's expertly crafted menu, and Zedlings often perform their talents in our yearly talent show! It's always a good time. Last year LVS played host to the meal, but this year Zurvival has the privilege to entertain. ^_^

We would like to ask the players of Zurvival to build an area for us to host this year's Christmas Meal.

The build will need to have:

• A sizeable kitchen, with lockable doors. Windows are encouraged.
• A large dining hall able to hold an estimated 30 guests.
• A stage

You are of course welcome to show off your building skills by building up the area with other features not listed

As we are on a time constraint, I have already asked Mell to lead this project. Please post here if you have any ideas for this year's Hall or would like to help! Thank you in advance! ^_^

As Zed said, I'll be lead on the Christmas Meal build, but only really to get it set-up and running. As with the previous years, it's a big community project which all are welcome to contribute to!

I'll be setting up a region for it tomorrow, before the Hide and Seek, and will make a forum post specifically about it then, though feel free to reply here, too! They've always been a blast in the past, and this year will be no different :)

Here's to another fun Christmas meal where absolutely nothing gets burnt, catches fire, has rampant Vex infestations, or traps cats in fire extinguishers!

Topic: Shops and Currency

I have noticed more recently some people in the market are undercutting each other in prices and trying to lower the worth of the current currency meaning everything is becoming worth less and less to the extent an anonymous player was trying to give netherite away for free as a shop.

I was hoping and thinking we should make a board or write a book for all the market with set exchange rates for currency
(e.g. 17iron -- 1diamond) and so on for netherite and diamonds...

It has also been seen recently people buy stock from someones shop to sell in their own which is seen as unfair as the original shop owner went through the trouble of getting their stock but being sold out and sold elsewhere. This is another rule I strongly disagree with and would help if it was written in a rule book/board.

All this is in order so that we can keep the economy alive and not collapse from people undercutting each other and so you can actually make a profit from what you are selling as wished for.

We will of course discuss this in-depth during the meeting, but for now I thought I'd just quickly post my thoughts on it.

Lvs has had this discussion in the past, which I believe we can draw from as we look into this.

I definitely undercutting is not healthy, and leads to everyone losing out.

I believe a set standard for currency is a bad idea, but encouraging fair prices achieves the same solution while allowing for natural change over time.
