Greetings!

This year's Halloween event takes place on LVS, and is the Mortiscue Mansion Mystery! Taking place October 31st, 4pm GMT on LVS. All are welcome to attend alongside Melody Specter, expert in the occult and arcane alike.

Mortimer Mortiscue recovered an artifact and brought it through the doors of his mansion. The entire household has since disappeared. Your task is to work together! Save the family - or at least discover their fate - and destroy any lingering evil
that remains.

We can only hope you prevail!

---
Rules:
-No personal items/gear. Bring only your wits; the rest will be provided
-You only live once! Should you pass to the next life, you will not return. I hope.
More details to follow!

---

Prior to the event, all builders are welcome to build something on the island to help set the scene
It is accessible through the orange border tunnel, 1100 down, then follow the ice paths.
You may build whatever you like - from big spooky chapels to small pumpkin patches, let your mind soar - but DO NOT enter the Mansion.
Any queries, post below =D

So the mystery has been solved - Mortiscue, mind corrupted by the Magnificent Oo'fin had along with his butler contructed a series of devious traps and pushed the rest of the household into it. The brave party of investigators fell into the same fate and were scuppered eventually by an especially tricky parkour course.

In the end, everyone died and escape from Mortiscue Manor was not acheived. However, the Magnificent Oo'fin was destroyed and Mortiscue was slain. Not by any of you lot, but by himself as he fell to his death in the very parkour pit that had thwarted the brave souls investigating the place.

So it's not the best ending... But not the worst either!

Thank you all for taking part, it was a fun event to run and me and Spec are very glad you (for the most part) enjoyed yourselves. And we hope that next year someone (read: somebody else) can do something even better!
