New Player: anonny

Hello people,

Just wanted to say hi and make myself known on the forum. I love the server and the members and I look forward to digging/chopping with you all in the near future. I am a lumberjack and my Buildings follow a medevil theme and I look forward to meeting whoever wants to come over and visit. I also keep chickens and sheep so if you need any chicken or sheep related loot I will be pleased to help.

That is all...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. As some of you may know, I am currently concerned with the proximity of my build with a fellow Zedling's empire build. I think his name is RobRawr, however we did have a brief chat the other day. He was adamant that I wasn't obstructing his build as long as I didn't build towards the South/East. I am assuming that the wall he built is the line not to cross, which makes things easier. However I was advised to wait to talk to him again before continuing to build...

Please get in touch regarding this issue since I would like to continue my build at some point. However it is still early enough to destroy the build (maybe with TNT?). If this eventuality materialises then I would appreciate some guidance as to where I can build without bothering anyone.

I dont want to upset anyone over this thing, he can tell me to sling my hook....I wont mind :)

"sling my hook" never heard that one before
Well Rob is a pretty decent player, very polite and all, so i can't imagine him asking you to leave unless you build right against his wall.
However, if you are not happy with being close to other players then i'd suggest going for a wander through the region post. Using /randomregion can help you find new places faster than just running around from where you are now.
If this still doesn't help you, I'd be happy to help you find an empty area. I know of a few so whatever biome you want i'm sure i know of one. :D
However if you are comfortable where you are, you should stay. We don't allow tnt above ground or inside claims, so it would need to me removed block by block and it is best when people don't leave half built or empty houses around because it would upset other players in future. (so think carefully before deciding if you wanna move or not~)
In regards to you continuing your build, a quick talk with Rob will have it sorted in no time! I'm glad you're discussing things with him before you continue, it really shows your respect for others. ^_^

*Goldy stamp of approval* I like you, you're nice. Keep it up and shout if you need help~

That is great advise thankyou very much. I will wait for a reply from Rob, I have sent him a message so he should get back to me soon hopefully. I would like to stay put if possible and continue the build, which would be a little village eventually. I still have plans to do a barracks, a cow shed and a guard tower. The build would have a consistant theme throughout so hopefully it should look quite nice :)

Thanks again.

Hi, anonny.
Welcome to ZedWork.

I replied to your message. You are more than welcome to live in Harbourbay.
Plus I notice you have AMAZING building skills. Nice job!
At the moment I'm building the terrain for ZedVille so that explains the wall. Not trying to block you off. heh. c: Once the terrain will be complete you will be able to move in if you'd like. Maybe some other members of the server could live in ZedVille as well? Perhaps? We'll have to see.

I hope to see you in-game.
Happy Minecrafting!
-Rob.

Hi Everyone,

Just to thank you all for helping me get on with the village. I have finished the guard tower, the barracks and the cow shed. I have also moved on to finishing the gallows and another small dwelling. I plan to also make a dock or harbour, however I might hold fire on that one until I get some input from Rob or any other vets with any advice as to the end look of the region.

I have managed to get alot done lately, its looking pretty pucka! Let me know what you guys think and also if you have any ideas for future projects.

Also thanks to all the people that donated materials, it made things go alot faster than it would have otherwise.

Cheers and beers!
